Netflix is trying to force a point that's old news on a lot of us: that release schedules don't matter.

But in being so adamant for the messaging, I think they're going to lose out in the social conversation building and anticipation that comes with a metered out series. Breaking Bad wouldn't be literally half as big as it ended up being if not for how the producers decided to draw out its final season.
