I didn't like s2 nearly as much as I did s1. But I thought it was good up until about a month ago. I really enjoyed the Christmas episode wit Ian McShane. He plays such a great villain. They have two episodes left, but there are so many story lines I don't know how they are going to wrap them up.
The part with the journalist chick in Dr. Thredsons house made no sense. IIRC, she turned his taped confession over to the police. Then she goes to his house alone while the police are doing... I don't know what they would be doing.... then she ends up shooting him in the back of the head just as the police are showing up with sirens blaring. Problem I have here is, if the police were in such a hurry to arrest him, how did she beat them to his house after she turned over the tapes.
I guess she could have dropped the tapes off then went to his house and the cops showed up after they listened to them. But how on earth is she going to get away with shooting a man in the back of the head in his own house? Even if she could come up with a self defense claim (which is hard to justify with a shot to the back of the head) she still would have had to of been detained
Anyways, it's all very confusing. Aliens, a Nazi, the devil, the angel of death...

I know! I was really frustrated when she went back, why do people feel the need to gloat in situations where someone could easily turn the tables on you? It did, at least, allow her to kill him once she realised he'd just be institutionalised.
