Production value of Kingdom is mental. Scenery, costumes, HATS, grounded in Korean Middle Ages setting are incredible. A series of stills from Kingdom a better watch than GoT as a whole. Eye candy lvl 100. Aside from that you kinda try to figure out if the bearded asian gentleman on screen is a new appearance or a character you're supposed to know, and what the zombie-biting-infection rules are that contradict themselves other every time the nurse speaks about them.

I haven't started it. Binged Fleabag instead and started Utopia and Ozark.

I love Korean movies I feel like I should like Kingdom. Worth a try anyway not like I've much else to do.

Yeah. While I can understand people like different things, and the show isn’t for everyone, it’s clearly not some meh, cliche, frivolous, really not good rubbish show. There’s a reason it is regarded so well by both critics and audience.

It’s a 7-7.5/10 for me. Production value, period aesthetic, and cinematography are fantastic. Acting is good. Entertainment value is high. Fight scenes are wildly inconsistent in quality, some good, some too silly, though I don’t think we’re necessarily meant to be placing large emphasis on realism of how they battle zombie epidemic. Plotline and narrative get a little convoluted and contradictory at times or I’d score it higher.

Not entirely sure that it’s your cup of tea though. ;)

You mostly speak good about it. What's the negative (and why you think it's not for me)? How you describe it I'd easily say it's 8.8.5 :D
