I recommended Rome, they called me a faggot for caring about women intrigues.
I recommended Vikings and Spartacus and they loved it

Vikings is more direct and simple. If King A says "I am going to seize Throne X" you can be goddamn sure that there will be an army marching by the end of the episode

There are major differences between Vikes and GoT but at the bottom line they are cousins. If you say a grapefruit fills the quota for citrus fruits you want to eat than I won't sell you oranges.
