I've been a hardcore gamer since the early 90s. I could probably do ten per decade, but what was influential when I was 10, Super Mario World, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat 1, 2, 3.... Those games are like comparing a shoe to a yacht compared to today's games. Plus, don't try to run back and play old games for nostalgia, you'll only be disappointed.

Amazing game. And 4 discs long lol

My dad went on a trip for like two weeks and I was home alone. Each night I stayed up until 5 am playing that game. Great times.

I remember spending endless hours playing that game. I love Rinoa. I must have completed the game with all the side quests and ultimate weapons on more than one occasion.

no specific order:

- Zelda Ocarina of Time (N64) - loved Majoras Mask also, the game was so dark and freaked me out when it came out. But Ocarina of time is probably the best game ever made imo. At least in that genre.

- Donkey Kong Country (SNES) - Pure classic: music was on point, really cool visuals and tons of fun. I also loved Crash Bandicoot & Spyro The dragon .

- Super Mario World (SNES) & Mario 64: This is a part of my childhood and has to be mentioned.

- Tekken 3/Tekken Tag (PS) Street Fighter (SNES version) - Best fighting games ever imo

- Age of Empires series , Starcraft & Red alert 2 : My favorite RTS games of all time.

- Read dead redemption 2 - a beautiful game and one of the most emotional games i ever played. It feels like a blockbuster movie. Incredible.

Other obvious picks:

PRO Evolution soccer (it was always better than FIFA and felt more like real football for some reason).

CM (01/02) or FM (03/04) was my favorite ones.

Metal gear series - classics that need no explaining.

Mario Kart 64 : just pure fun.

Sonic on the Megadrive was also great.
