Man, I completely lost interest in the Fallout series. Last one was pretty boring story wise and after watching a min of this new game and seeing the same fucking outdated engine I really give up on it.

They make a killing out of their games not to put some of that money and effort into overhauling the graphics/animation departments.

This one is going to be an entirely new type of game for them, so I'm ok with the graphics and engine being the same. They should be supporting it for a while too, so who knows what'll be introduced. For this one I'll be mostly playing at the same time as my brothers, since we all have computers capable of playing it. We haven't had a truly co-op game in YEARS, so that already is going to be immense fun for me and something I've been longing for.

The next main series game, they should have a ridiculous amount of money for, so I think we'll see such changes then :p. I think we'll have a better idea after the new Elder Scrolls game comes out.

RDR2 is great so far, haven't been able to play much though. The thing I'm worried about though is in general, their games (mostly GTA) get boring for me really fast, and as time goes on I find myself caring less and less about the story. I barely played the latest oneRed Dead Redemption was the exception though, I played that to completion and loved it. So I'm thinking this may be a similar case.

I can relate. Haven't touched a single GTA game since like forever, as it became boring to me. The Simpsons of video games if you want. To me Red Dead was and is better, not only for the setting, but also the story. Personal oreferences i guess.

Red Dead is far, far better than Grand Theft Auto. Having a story arc that not only deals with the old west, but also coming to grips with an expanding country and transitioning into the 20th century is much more than what GTA could offer.

Really loved Fallout 3, New Vegas not so much. Probably would have liked Fallout 4 too but just don't have enough time to play it (I bought it back in the days but I only played it like few hours). But generally Fallouts are great games.

PS The same happened (as with Fallout 4) to me with the latest GTA. Great game but just don't have time to play it.
