Sadly, I've been a number of David's restaurants here in NYC over the past 6 years and they don't live up to the hype. He's better at creating content than he is at being a restaurateur
I did not grow up eating brussel sprouts. They were never featured in our household. But the best way to prep I've come across is from a japanese place I used to frequent in TX

I usually place some bacon in a cast iron skillet and add the brussell sprouts with garlic, sale and pepper, then add a little bit of red wine and red wine vinegar. Get them slightly charred on top and add a little butter.

Went to my local Thai place last night and ordered green papaya salad and drunken noodles both at an 18 out of a 20 spice level. I probably had about 20 Thai red chilis last night.
I'm in the western suburbs of DC but used to go into the city a lot before Covid. The best Thai food I've ever had in the US was at Little Serow, they do Northern Thai and half the dishes are not just Thai spicy but blazing hot. One of my favorite places I've ever been to. The second choice I have for Thai is Thai Crossing. You just pay a fixed rate and the chef makes you whatever he wants. Both are great.
Anyone here been to a Salt Bae restaurant? I got to dine at one while in Dubai. Excellent food, ambience. I got to talk to the waiter about Demiral - the waiter was over the moon.
Gave the brussels with other vegetables and chicken fillet in the oven. Also like you guys said, everywhere butter. It was not bad. I gave only pepper and salt over the whole stuff, are there any other spices that i could use for the next time?
