i dont go around advertising my fetishes and sexual preferences, as a matter of fact i'd get fired if i did so at my job.
But listing what you like to do between the sheets is different than admitting you are gay. I'm sure nobody cares if you admit to being straight just as long as you don't go into detail.

You work in the military? Don't ask don't tell?
sexual harassment

so its ok to say i like anal as long as it is with other men, not enough delineation the matter is very skewed and overboard because homosexuals have suffered persecution but on a logical stance this acceptance at work approach is hypocritical and wrong

So homosexuals should have to stay secret since they have gay sex?

How is it their fault that you can't keep your mind from wandering about their assholes? So what if they like to go out and get their hole plugged on a Friday night, its not like it affects you in anyway.

It would be difficult for any footballer to come out. Firms and ultras a like a big boys clubs, they'd cop a whole lot of shit from fans I think.

True. I can't see the Juve ultras who shout the Balo chants embracing Giovinvo's gayness by playing tummy sticks in the stands.

It'd be creepy if anyone in my team (especially in such a contact sport as football) admitted that he was gay, and I'd probably vote for him to get kicked out of the team, so that I could concentrate on the game not watch my back all the time. I've nothing against gays, but they just shouldn't advertise their sick lifestyle through sports (and that's what they would do if they admit it in public), so they better keep it silent. I much rather read a Legro or Kaka t-shirt about religion than see some famous gay quote after a great goal.

hows that relevant to their job? it's all about consistency

as for your second part, it indeed was a mistake to discuss something seriously with you
Your sexual preference isn't relative or at least shouldn't be relative to your job, I'm not saying they should go around announcing it and making sure everybody accepts them but they shouldn't have to lie about who they are just to avoid ignorance of others.

as for your second part, is this just an dodge you use when you don't have a better response? My point was that it should not be any of your concern what your co-worker does in their own time so I don't get why it would bother you if they are doing "gay stuff".

What do you mean by sick lifestyle?
