Sorry, that it took so long to respond, but I've been very busy lately.
Have you ever played football/basketball with attractive females? Probably every normal men at this situation would give a look or two at such a beauty. I don't know how it's for gays, but it'd definitely freak me out if i knew that someone is giving a look to my ass while I'm running my heart out on the field :D And I'm yet to mention the showering after the game.

If Messi or any other football idol would came out and proclaim that he's gay, that would surely be one of the most successful advertising campaigns for gays. I recently experienced how turning lesbian ruined my classmates life, and yes, I did say turning gay. She was fine until last summer, got good chances of going to good university in Britain, finishing the best school in Latvia with excellent marks, but in the last year she turned lesbian (with partner, who is like 5 years older), her parents kicked her out and right now the best she can hope for is to survive through the crisis.
Don't flatter yourself you're arse isn't that good anyway.

Once you're on the pitch playing a serious game of football, for 90 minutes any sexual endeavours go right out the window. If I was playing for a champions league title and Christy Turlington was playing next to me I wouldn't go checking out her rack in the middle of a game, I'd be doing my job. When you play you have a responsibility to not be distracted by anything and to keep your mind on the game. That would obviously apply for homosexual players as well.

Only if you're 5 goals down is that ok.

You know there is a gay rowing club next to where I used to row. I became friends with some of them and when I asked them why they didn't row for a normal club they said they when they used to row in regular crews they would be ridiculed and found it difficult to befriend their crew because of homophobic paranoia. The guys just want to row and love their sport, they don't go bang each other after a race. Its so sad that that club even has to exist.

Well especially if you're gonna target CR7 & Kaka.

But yeah you're absolutely spot on.

You know the biggest misconception is that gay men are fragile & dress a certain way, kinda over the top flamboyant. When i worked in the corporate environment there were guys you'd never think were gay.Its not like they have tattoos on their foreheads that give them away & at my local gym there are huge gay bodybuilders.Funny thing is,nobody would dare make fun of them.:D

You cannot be serious with this sentence about an advertising campaign because thats ridiculous, as i said before being more accepting of gays is not going to turn anybody who is strait into a gay person, thats just laughable.

And for the second paragraph being a lesbian is not what ruined her life, he parents ignorance and refusal to accept her for who she is is what ruined it, that story if anything is a reason to promote acceptance of homosexuality instead of hating someone for something that they can not can control.

Well I could easily imagine some 13yo or a bit older fanboy's taking a big step towards homosexuality.
Would you accept your daughter and her gf living in your house? Maybe you would, but I wouldn't and I can easily see why did her parents did what they did. They surely didn't brought her up and gave all best to her just to watch her being ridiculed and haunted all life. Of course you can blame the society, but that's just how it is, and you can't change it that easy.

So by your definition if you didn't know she was a lesbian this means she wasn't?
I knew she is not lesbian before that, I've talked to her a lot about it. But of course by Kyles theory we can go on how she was destined to be lesbian even before she was born.

It is pretty good :p

Well this is supporting my argument as well, as I'd be distracted by a thought of being watched, even if I wasn't. And I'm not playing in CL, but if I would be, there's still trainings and stuff.

Are you serious?

You heard it here first people: watching a gay dude will, in turn, make you gay!

God forbid you ever have a child that's gay. What would you do? Kick him/her out of the house? Never talk to him/her again?
I guess you could try talking him/her out of it? That'll work.

I really wonder if some people on this forum ever come into contact with gay people in the big & harsh world out there. Based on some reactions, I'd say they don't.

So you're another one believing that you have no choice, but being gay if you're born that way? I'm not talking about watching, I'm talking about following your idol.

True that. His/her homo friend would probably be the first one I've ever really hated.

I probably spend a lot more time on that world out there than you, since your post-count is ~3 times bigger.

Choice?

You mean like waking up one morning and deciding your (sexual) preferences? Makes perfect sense.

No argument there.
I don't feel like spending a lot of time in "your" world though.

pitbull reminds me of Dafydd Thomas
Oh no. Fat & gay. That's too much for any guy to take.

Well that's exactly the reason why it's impossible for me to discuss on this forum. I ignored JCK the first time, but he is such a baby that he will disturb again and again, so that someone will finally respond to his remarkable and great posts. And he is not alone in that department.

So, why can't this choice be affected by some of the people you adore? Being gay is a bit deeper :)P) than just sex.
I don't think (general) people are that easily influenced, especially not when it comes to these kind of tastes & preferences.
And even if some people are, what's wrong with that anyway? If that's what makes them happy, why shouldn't they?

I have known gay, lesbian & bisexual people pretty much my whole life. And you know what, apart from 1 small detail, they aren't any different from me.

Small question: One of those gay people I know is a high school teacher now. Do you think that he is not suited for that job? Considering that some kids in his classes will inevitably look up to him.
