Being left handed is not comparable to being gay. One makes you do certain disturbed stuff and behave differently in a society which is not the norm to do.

If there is no norm in our society, on being a straight or a gay person, than people who are gay shouldn't have a problem admitting and going out in the open about their sexuality, not get married to a woman, have babies with her, and then when you're 40 years old you come out of the closet.

And that's why not only religious books forbidden it but also Science, philosophers etc were always against any male + male contacts or female + female sexual contacts. There's a reason and purpose of having 2 genders. It's how this nature works IMO.

Let's stay on the left hand argument then. Being right handed is more common, so it kind of makes it a norm. Being left handed though, does not affect anybody in society. Being gay, which is not the norm, like it or not, affects others. So they are completely different cases and aren't comparable.

Opposite sexes are meant to produce babies. Even animals were created for that purpose. Same sexes cannot. That makes it disturbing. And for the record, I find lesbians lame.

Most gays I know had big problems admitting they're gay. Some of them came out open on their late 30s.
