The only wingers I wanted were Nani and Ribery, who were both very unlikely targets anyway. What we should do is sign Alex and a quality left back and just stop looking for wingers right away. We should play 4-3-3 with Krasic on the right of that attacking frontline, with Matri in the middle and Vucinic on his left. Midfield: Marchisio - Pirlo - Vidal. Defense: Quality left back, Chiellini, Alex, Lichtsteiner.

Stop chasing these mediocre wingers, it's nonsense. If we can get a quality one, sure, then go for it, but if not: prepare for 4-3-3 and be done with it.

The front 3 should be these:

Vučinić Quagliarella Krasić

Why? Because Quagliarella > Matri
Fair enough. I'm glad we have both, though, so that we can rotate.

But who am I kidding, 4-3-3 will be the exception. 4-2-4, it seems, is the main course.

Calciomercato is reporting that Juve could land him if Pasquato is included in the deal.

This is sure to drive some pre-season zealots in this forum crazy.

:D IZ.

What I'm reading on TMW now, is that Bologna apparently need a defender and they would like Sorensen. Fiorentina are ahead of us because they've made an official offer. They confirm we are negotiating with them.

By the way, it's Maurizio Setti, vice-president of Bologna, who said that. ( According to TMW and Google translate. )

And yes, I'm bored. I'm supposed to be studying.

TMW says Viola is in pole position, while Calciomercato says we are (because of Pasquato).

But yeah, Bologna is after Sorensen for a while, I wouldn't be surprised if we used both of them in some swap deal.
