May I ask why?
If you are solely comparing the two players on talent alone, ramirez is the more talented player.
This move, if it were to happen, is the ultimate Boom or Bust transfer.
If ramirez develops into the player that a lot of people think that he will, then this would be a master stroke of a transfer that hasn't been seen around these parts in quite a while. If it doesn't work, then it would be an abject failure.
However, these types of moves need to be made once in a while. Sometimes chances need to be taken, and I would rather take a chance on a 20 year old with exciting potential.

The kid has an abundance of talent.
I don't know, maybe its because of the wonderful invention of ESPN on XBOX Live that I get to watch a lot of Serie A matches, but I'm drooling over the prospect of such a young talent in a Juve kit.
Because we need to KEEP our talented youngsters and let them grow. Pasquato has shown enough in Serie B, and with us in pre season and deserves a chance to stay in the first team this season.
I have no problems with us going for Ramirez, in fact I welcome his supposed arrival, but we just can't constantly loan and sell (50%) of our young products away, especially at the age Pasquato is at. He's been loaned and whored out enough, its time we give some of these guys a chance.
I'm not saying Pasquato is the second coming of Maradona (nice over exaggeration), but surely he's done enough to at least be a reserve for the LW and SS if need be.

But one of the other major components of a youth system is to allow the team to use them as centerpieces for deals to get other players, especially in this case, for a talent such as ramirez.
Yes, Paquato did enough last year in Serie B, to warrant an opportunity this year, but this is ramirez we are talking about. A plyaer who is 2 years younger who did just as much as Pasquato last year while playing 1/3 fewer matches for a Serie A squad.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if they are merely showcasing Pasquato to other teams in order to acquire a better player
