First , as I said a lot of times it is unjust , whilst the main characteristic of stannis is justice.

Second why , because he would still continue to fight . In case he doesn't kill shireen and melisandre tells him he can't win , he would still fight the white walkers considering it his duty to protect his kingdom . Obviously dying in the process if the death of shireen was the only way to win .

This fucking season.. Can't believe what they did with Sansa and Stannis. And it will surely get worse in the last episode.
Btw i wouldn't underestimate Prince Dorian, maybe his body is weak, but he seems very intelligent.

I'm glad the Sons of the Harpy killed Hizdahr Zo Loraq.
I kinda enjoyed his interaction with Tyrion.

He'd probably die/lose his entire army against the Boltons already, after which the White Walkers rek the continent. It's not even about him wanting to fight or win, but that he can most likely only win with this sacrifice.

Also, your argument concerning Stannis' sense of justice is a good one, but justice is not the primary force driving Stannis. Remember, he was also up to (presumably) sacrificing Gendry, who was just as innocent. His main motive is simply that he believes to be Ahor Azai, the only one able to stop the complete destruction of Westeros by the White Walkers.

I don't think anyone is underestimating him. He seems like a real ruler caring about his realms instead of going for glory/his desires/revenge. Feels like another of the "good" guys. Oberyn was this kind of a badass but with honourable ways of living and Dorran seems like a smarter Oberyn minus fighting of course. Martells became my favourite house after Starks got rekt.

Imagine if Starks and Martells joined forces at the beginning of this war. Or Starks + Martells + Baratheons. This war would be over in a month.

Well, the Martells were always going to do the smart thing and stay out of the whole mess, but Robb really should've joined Stannis.

Exactly , Davos saved him from that error .

Well yeah, but the example shows that him sacrificing innocent people for the greater good is not really out of character for Stannis.

The main question is do they still do porn? Or why else would a grown men watch movie about dragons?
Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.

What was the point to change almost everything from the book in the 9th season? sometimes i think that Martin doesn't know how to finish the story and the tv series is giving an opportunity to be more cruel and bloodthirsty that's why he decided to change many many many things and events
