Fantastic episode. Hold the door

The actor playing Euron Greyjoy is excellent, where do I recognize him from? Besides looking like a bloated Ewan McGregor.
That is Pilou Asbæk, he is danish. He was in the beginning of Lucy, I can't remember any other big movies he's been in.

Good ep last night but I'm having a bit of trouble understanding exactly what happened with Bran/Hodor.

So Bran was warging back into past, then heard Meera tell him to warg into Hodor (present), but now this is where I get lost. Does young Hodor have the seizure because present Hodor dies or does Bran save him in a sense?

Someone halp me

I'd say he has the seizure because bran wargs into present day hodor from the past, that opens a link from whats happening in the present "hold the door" and Willis/Hodor who sees it, hears it and has the seizure. Not sure if that makes any sense. What I think is important is the possibility that Bran will unwillingly or willingly have been the cause of present events. Such as the mad king hearing whispers before he turned mad, just a possibility.

This guy mentions that theory a bit half way into it:

I think the main question here is why everyone is so intent on saving bran
He is the last greenseer (one in thousand of any man has potential to be a warg, and one in a thousand wargs has potential to be a greenseer, super rare), after three eyed raven just died. Powerful figure who Bran seems alot more capable and gifted then despite being just a novice that knows nothing. He seems to litterally be able to push the boundaries of time and space and be the one able to influence/see the chessboard and the saga of this mad world.

The haircut and the face were giving it away. Three eyed Raven is Bran from the future
Nah, I'll link you a fuller bio of this character from books thats not mentionned in the series much, and since now he is dead, its not spoilers :p

Possible spoilers for the Three-Eyed Raven's identity and Jon's story

The Three-Eyed Raven is Brynden Rivers, nicknamed Bloodraven. In his earlier life he was a bastard son of a Targaryen king. In the books he is an albino and a skilled archer. His mother is from House Blackwood, which has ravens for its sigil. Brynden has a red, raven-shaped birthmark on his face, and that's how he earned his nickname. He lost an eye fighting for his half-brother Daeron II during the Blackfyre Rebellion. He used his skills as a greenseer to spy and root out traitors. Think of Varys if he were actually loyal to the king and had far more ability to spy anywhere. There was a saying that Bloodraven had "a thousand eyes, and one." (If you pay attention on the show, this verbal clue is dropped when Bran meets him.) After serving as Hand to two of his nephews, Bloodraven landed in the black cells during the reign of Aegon V (Maester Aemon's brother). He went to the Wall with Aemon, eventually became lord commander of the Night's Watch and then disappeared beyond the Wall.

So that's who the Three-Eyed Raven really is.

If I recall correctly in the books Raven is already mentioned as one of Aegon's bastard children (Aegon the Unworthy). Plus, the different eye color makes me skeptical about this theory, but hey, this is a universe where dead men are being resurrected :howler:

Also Someone pointed out that Raven has the same facial features as the bleeding eye face on the tree, I'll link it when I'm on my pc, just something interesting

This TV series has so much going on that they could make another 20 seasons and it will still be just as entertaining as the first one. Has there ever been a Tv Series with so much depth.
