I don't get something, if Bran can get into Hodor's head, why couldn't he control that asshole who was trying to kill him in the first place? Major plot hole, RR Martin.
Hodor is weak in the head. Bran only has skill to control animals and retards.

because Bran can't control people. Hodor is part giant therefore part animal
Hodor is not a giant. He's just big.

Hodor is weak minded that's why Bran is able to enter into his mind. I'm sure its more difficult than entering into an animal, but its possible.

"The greatest swordsman who ever lived didn't have a sword?!?!?!

I know, mad silly....
Nah it's because Hodor is too simple to fight off the "mind control". But it's still harder to do than controlling animals.
Yea, he's like a Game of Thrones version of RUS.

Word, to both.
could swear it was mentioned that he had "giant's blood" at some point.
That was the Wildling girl that was travelling with them, she said, "I'd be surprised if he doesn't have Giant's blood in him."

He might do, but you can see the difference between him and the actual giant shown.
still wouldnt be surprised if he was part. Makes more sense than a retard who can say his own name but nothing else.
