Whoops, I think I voted "No" to this guy... only because I really didn't know him. I checked him out on youtube but wasn't too impressed... but in hindsight, youtube obviously doesn't show everything D'Agostino did the entire season. I also checked him out on the Football Manager pc game, wasn't too impressed either... but that's just a game so meh...

After reading that blog article on TheOffside.com, I am almost completely sold on this guy, the only thing holding me back is that he is unproven. Given that the last few transfer seasons were terrible for Juve - relying on unproven talent - I'm a lot more cautious nowadays (as compared to those great years when we bought the likes of Zidane, Montero, Davids, Birindelli, Zambrotta, Trezeguet, Thuram, Nedved, Buffon, Camoranesi, etc. all of whom rose to greatness with Juve, and as a result, their national sides). The last 5 years have been quite ordinary... the Juve youths on the other hand are a very different story...

Although, I just realised Udinese did play in the CL this year so that is definitely something D'Ago can put on his CV... and I guess all those Juve greats were arguably unproven talent before they joined Juve... so fingers crossed that Juve have another great team in the making.

hmm I doubt is true.. I read a interview with Gigli on Tuttomercatoweb for an hour ago.. when he says that they did not meet with Udinese today because Secco couldent because he is ill.... then he also said that Juve and Udinese are far from coming to agreement they value him to high and that they have hard to agree about the players who will go to Udinese in the deal.

FFS Why can't we give them Marco.. they need a right sided attacket since Quag left right? Or do they think Sanchez will be their replacement..

Anyway I want this deal done.

Yeah same here mate.. I hope we can make the deal next week.. they say we are goint to meet Udinese on monday.. I hope they can come to an agreement.

It would be good if we buy D'Agostino and the other player/players before our preseason begins .

Lyon can easily find a younger replacement that will have increasingly lower wages. A deal can be done in seconds if it's not already agreed.
