For me, Camo is the perfect player to play CM on the right side (I think he played that role under Lippi?) in a 3-CM/DMs formation. He has it all to be a good CM and can provide the width as well. You can't repy solely on fullbacks to play on the band.

I'm for keeping our youngsters. But if someone puts out a good deal for us with a position we could use some real help in, I am never against trading.

Zidane got us Buffon, Nedved, and Thuram. Maybe there are some people who still believe we made a mistake in selling him. But if we had Zidane at age 22 or younger, would that mean all bets are off in trading him -- even if for the same class of Buffon, Nedved, and Thuram at the time? Because of a date on his birth certificate, he becomes untouchable?

I just don't see why someone's age makes them a protected class of player compared to someone else. It's all about economics and the value of assets in the end. As you well know, Wall Street is littered with stories of growth stocks of companies that were held on too long or not acquired for killer prices when they should have been traded. An asset's future potential should factor into its value, but that should never take it off the table.
1) Zidane wanted to leave so we let him leave on a high fee rather than have him for another year and sell him for penuts
2) Are you kidding me If Zidane was 22 and wouldn`t ask to leave he would have stayed here for a very long time

But how many opportunities did DC get? Did he have a reasonable span of matches to judge on?
Last season i've watched many games for siena (around 20 games) and DC was average at best if not below average in those games.

Many people here rate the guy because they think he may turn out to be great (and who knows he might one day) but he just don't seem to have it really.

Marchisio and giovinco on the other hand were great with empoli. Even though marchisio was injured alot that season but when he played he was all over the place. Giovinco is just special, in almost every single game he played for empoli he managed either to score or create that killer pass that resulted in a draw or a win.

I'm a fan of young players but i'm for selling DC to Udinese even for a complete ownership.....

Alas, that is why you have your lunch stolen daily :p However, I do agree with you when it comes to shipping him out to gain more experience (but not an outright sale) if and only if Criscito is coming back. If we are planning to send him away, and rely on Molinaro :scared:  and buy mediocre players like Dossena :snoop: and Grosso  , then I'm totally against it :faq1: :luckyluke:

Let's hope we'll get better players than those

Ok, I admit DC has not impressed (yet), but the idea that a total useless moron like Molinaro gets to stay, but a kid who's been at Juve since he was 9 and went thru all the ranks does not, makes my blood boil.

He is a very good player, but not world class. He is a complete, all round midfielder with good technique and an impressive passing range. I would say he's a 2'nd degree Pirlo or De Rossi.

Good, I hope he's consistent too. We can't tolerate another Poulsen or Tiago.

So if he we won't get Criscito back, sell De Ceglie we Molinaro as a starter and then the season 2009/10 will be doomed.

Juve - D'Agostino - Cifre a curiosita.
