Two new fullbacks and this team might actually have some serious potential.

Although completely turning your first 11 inside out is rarely a wise move..
if you keep the core of the team intact it can work well
in reality gigi, chiellini, even cannavaro who knows the team, momo, marchisio, alex and amauri are there
so it wont be a complete revolution

Moggi wanted him back in the day, Roma wanted Davids so they offered D’Agostino, Aquilani and De Rossi and 10 million Lire but Moggi wanted 15,

Imagine our midfield now if that would of happened

De Rossi and Aquilani would have left when we were sent to B.

Back then Davids was awesome and those players were average. accepting the deal then would be bad for us. ofcourse that now it would benefit us but we probably had less scudettos if we had those guys instead.
Also we would probably sell or loan D`Agostino and Aquilani untill eventually being sold. as for De Rossi he might never reach his current level if he were with us rotting on the bench

Buffon, Del Piero, Trez, Nedved, Camo didn't leave, if the club really wanted them they would of stayed

I think it was around the time when Davids contract was nearly up, but the 3 player were in the primavera and were unknown which could of been a big mistake or one of the best business deals ever

Not when you have a handful of average players.

It will take time for the team to gel, thats for sure, but if you ask me it's definitely worth it.

We definately would have less silverware with that move. Obviously due to my Avatar Davids is one of my favorite players ever and I think one of the most complete CMs of all time. No one could shut down Zidane and distribute with the skills and passing ability like him. Not even De rossi

If we'll sign him, we'll have one of the best center field in the world. Sissoko, Marchisio, D'Agostino, Diego. Absolute equilibrium of power, strength, precision and technique. Who wouldn't want a center field like this? :xfinger:
