I think it will be a good purchase. Unlike the other two boneheads we have, D'ago is at least Serie A proven and has been able to unlock the defenses of most of the leagues teams. I like his vision and ability to spread play with (for a change) an accurate long ball. It will be nice having someone who can sit back and get something started and have someone more deadly in Diego/Giovinco that will be up higher creating their own chances and unleashing the attack.

If we really have signed him, I'm happy then. He isn't our star signing, he is a solid player, who wasn't expensive. A team needs these kind solid players in their rooster to be considered as title contenders. I just hope Marchisio will not be sacrificed for him. I really believe in this kid, wouldn't want him to be put in the back seat because of this transfer.

Yeah otherwise Marchisio is going to turn into a late bloomer like D'ago because no one showed trust in him until he was older.

But I think that after this season performances Marchisio deserves to be given a chance, he really showed he has potential. He is getting better with every game, and he has a very good attitude.

I agree, like I have said. We need a coach that is going to trust their potential and unleash it. Not waste it.

When asked about the new coach Gigli said that Ferrara is a valid candidate but there are many other names. As for Spalletti, our director said "He's Roma's manager and it looks like Roma want to keep him. We'll respect Rosella Sensi's decision".
