I hope so but if not then our budget for this year is about 30m €. We already spent close to it with Diego and the rest in the possible D'Ago deal. It's still better than last year's budget but some would of expected more with the CL, TV...money and the prevision of guaranteed cash from the new stadium.
but we paid in installments right? so we still got cash

Now that Secco just confirmed that we are going for the 4-3-1-2 formation next season we should just give them Giovinco. I dont see the point of us having one of the best talents out there and make him sit on the bench and maby if he is lucky Ferrara will play him in the 80th minute or so. We are just destroying him and he would get to play regularly in Udinese. At least we are going to be using D'Ago on the field.

for all the competitions we will contest..squad depth..QUALITY squad depth is important..there's so many scenarios we can face..injuries/suspensions/slump in player form/cramped schedules (especially back to back CRUCIAL games)..i would like to know that if a player is unavailable for some reason there is someone of quality to step in..we shud be looking past the bare 11

It would be nice to get a deep-lying playmaker, but it certainly isn't essential.

You've got to be kidding... right? Maybe I'm not picking up the sarcasm?

You want to let Seba go, before he's even had the opportunity to play for a coach who has confidence in his ability? Hell no. We need to give this talented player a legitimate shot!

Yeah, I don't like that back up scheme at all. I mean, if Brazzo and Zanetti can stay healthy, than it might be workable (far from ideal), but the odds of those two particular players suffering injuries is pretty damn high.

Seba's great, Poulsen is definitely a solid back up. Zanetti is excellent, when healthy and on form... which we saw about 3 games of this season. He's no spring chicken, and I think he may be in decline. Hopefully I'm wrong about this.

I really like Brazzo as a professional, and he seems like a great teammate, but he isn't a player I want to depend on at all - he's definitely in decline. I like him as the emergency utility stopgap, who brings a lot of leadership and experience to the table - that's about it.

Why couldn't Udinese take some of our shit like Marchionni or Tiago instead of looking for our better players? damn Udinese!

D'Ago is needed in my opinion, we have lacked someone who can confidently take the ball out of defence and give it to our strikers for some time, D'Ago could do that without a hitch, he could feed Gio/Diego balls all day long.

I think this will be sorted out though in the next week or two.

Like Red has already stated we need a 'squad'. Secco cannot confirm which formation we will use because he is not the manager, Ferrara also said a 4-2-3-1 could be deployed therefore Gio can play there. Diego will start ahead of Gio next season I'm sure of.
