It would be nice to get a deep-lying playmaker, but it certainly isn't essential.
Yeah, I don't like that back up scheme at all. I mean, if Brazzo and Zanetti can stay healthy, than it might be workable (far from ideal), but the odds of those two particular players suffering injuries is pretty damn high.
Seba's great, Poulsen is definitely a solid back up. Zanetti is excellent, when healthy and on form... which we saw about 3 games of this season. He's no spring chicken, and I think he may be in decline. Hopefully I'm wrong about this.
I really like Brazzo as a professional, and he seems like a great teammate, but he isn't a player I want to depend on at all - he's definitely in decline. I like him as the emergency utility stopgap, who brings a lot of leadership and experience to the table - that's about it.
