No, because it takes time to adapt to Europe, especially as a 17 year old. If he had a couple of seasons as a starter in the first division, then maybe.

And state championships aren't as competitive as you think they are.
Adapt to Europe socially? Sure, but why does he have to be placed with guys he's obviously much better than? I am not asking them to fuckin' start him, just let him train with the first squad.

The Carioca Campeonato is one of the best one in Brazil with teams like Flamengo, Vasco, Fluminense and Botafogo. If you get an award for being one of the best midfielders in that championship then you could easily skip the mighty Primavera. But then again, this team has no idea how to handle youngsters.

Adapting so he can play in games.

It holds little importance, and it's mostly a time waster when the league isn't happening. Those teams think ahead to the league when playing their games.

Ok the boy needs to adapt to the Italian way of life, Italian football, Juventus itself. He is still so young, this is the biggest move in his career. He probably needs to learn to speak Italian, of course he needs some time in the primavera.

He'll go into Primavera, get to know his regular team mates, then train some with the first team, if an opportunity arises he will go on as sub or in Coppa Italia.

Friends,

http://www.facebook.com/gabrielappelt isn't Gabriel official page and HE DOESN'T LIKE BIEBER.

They only have personal profiles:
Gabriel: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1544410909
Guilherme: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1382602003

The others ones are fake. Please, ignore them.

As Salvatore said: 'Takes time to adapt to Europe.' Gabriel can't play in main team if he is only 17 years old and don't know how to say 'palla' yet. Let's give a bit of time for them. If EVERYTHING goes right he will be on main team only in 2012. but who knows?!

Are people getting stroppy because he doesn't have a free pass into the first team? If he is so much better than the rest of the primavera he'll have to show that and earn his spot like Sorenson did.

Well, i know, that its stupid, but i wouldnt take him to start spot at 17 yo, no matter how good is he. Too young is too young.
