Sörensen? He came from division 2 in Denmark, not exactly the same as Appelt.

Its still stupid. He could do exactly the same thing with the first team because that is where his ability belongs. He has been playing regular football back in Brazil and won accolades for best midfielder and things like that. Isn't Marrone with the first team? I don't see him playing regular football and winning personal awards.

I'll ignore the strange Marrone vs Gabriel debate, but on Sørensen that's what I mean, he managed to get a break (through injuries) and carved an opening for himself. Gabriel has impressed more at the same stage and could too.

What I mean is that he shouldn't have to prove anything in the Primavera. He should be sent straight to the first team based on what he has accomplished in Brazil.

Gabriel, in the snippets we have seen, looks to be something we are actually missing in our midfield presently...someone who can pass brilliantly, keep the ball AND tackle. It would be strange if he actually stayed in the primavera all season...less strange if he was loaned out, but i suspect they will keep both brothers at the club, making their first year in a new country, easier to embrace and assimilate into.

Yes...i don't think anyone here has seen any more of him than the small in length video clips...less than 10 minutes in total footage of the player. His cousin obviously knows him better as will anyone who watches the brazilian championship where he has been playing for resende...but personally, i have seen a small amount, snippets of his abilities...and in those snippets...gabriel makes numerous passes of a high quality, he also shows great ability to keep hold of the ball, as well as likes to tackle/intercept...perhaps you don't know the meaning of the word snippets??? Its another word for fragment...as if something has been snipped into pieces and the pieces are called snippets. Apologies...I often forget that I am on a multi lingual forum.

I am unsure, mate...It appears that Guilherme has been played for the Resende youth team, not seniors...as for getting any informatiom about their youth team, best to peek deeper into the Resende page and learn some portuguese.
