JUVENTUS, In defense Clichy and Taiwo

15.02.2008 10.10

Arsenal's Gael Clichy (22) is the next target of Juventus. Find confirmation the news revealed some days ago about the interest of bianconeri for the defender of Gunners. A name that would been in the purchases list of June, thinking to the left side of the defense. Besides Clichy, the list would be also Paolo De Ceglie (21),Taye Taiwo and Manuel Pasqual.
Pasqual :agree: ... that would be a dream, and get De Ceglie back, then we got LB coverd...

No matter how much I love Vargas I think Clichy and Pasqual would fit Juventus better but I wouldn`t mind Vargas at all.

Let's get real...Clichy is out of our reach...I don't see how Wenger would sell him... Let's buy Pasqual and we are GOLDN...He is Italian, knows serie A, is quick, good on both sides D and offense, has great crosses ect.
That would be perfect for Juve, and we can keep Chiellini on the CD...
On the other hend, we can bring back De Ceglie, who is haveing super season in Siena...

Maybe in a part exchange deal with Palladino

anyway why not exchanging with Ranieri and Wenger I`m willing to see us put another player in the exchange as well
(I know that it doesnt work like this with managers...)

Taiwo is not bad at all, compared to Molinaro hes very very good.
Taiwo is decent, nothing more nothing less..no way is he good enough for Juve IMO, i watch the Ligue every week..and i can tell you that he's only highly rated because he scores a lot of scorchers for a defender..but he's just way too clumsy IMO.

nay Wenger wouldnt let go of the best young fullback in the world for Palladino..i wouldnt mind Palla in Arsenal..but to be honest not for Clichy, i doubt Wengers that stupid too.

    Hey Hands Off!!

I dont see any reason why Wenger would sell Clichy, he has been our most consistent player this season..i cant even remember the last time he's had a bad game. If you check out the EPL thread, you'll see that i rate him as our best player this season.

PS: to see how important he is, watch how Ronaldo rapes us in the Fa Cup match, he's going to run circles around us..Reason? Clichy isnt going to be there to put him in his backpocket as always.
I thought you were telling us all season long that Flamini is the player who impressed you the most this season as the most consistant and arguably best player for Arsenal?

Now that Fiorentina sold Balzaretti to Palermo i think Pasqual is there to stay.

Clichy would be too hard to get and wenger wont let him leave.

De Ceglie would be a good player to get as he can play LB and LM for that matter.

There is no chance of getting Gael ...

If we can get De Ceglie back, I will be more than happy for him to be the starting LB. He might just gave us a lasting impression the way Chiellini did when he got converted to CB.
