Inler: 'I never rejected Napoli or Juve'

Gokhan Inler insists he “never rejected Napoli, nor did I say I was determined to join Juventus.”

The Udinese midfielder had been close to the Stadio San Paolo when it was widely reported he turned down the move, partially prompted by his wife, because he preferred Turin.

“I have not made any decision,” the Swiss international told Il Mattino newspaper.

“I don’t know why certain things were written. I never rejected Napoli, nor did I say I was determined to join Juventus.

“I was simply flattered by the interest from the Bianconeri, just as I am happy that Napoli want to focus on me.

“Together with my agent, we will decide on the best option for the future. Money will not be the main force behind my decision, but rather the plans and ambitions of the club. I want to win.

“I believe firmly in destiny. If destiny wants it, then I will play for Napoli, but right now I really don’t know anything. I just want to relax and decide what is best for me.”

Why care about the meeting today, IF we reach an agreement for Inler with Udinese. Still if we should believe his agent and himself, it seems like he want to think about what he wants.

Maby we get Sanchez today instead:p nah don't think so.

It will be a long summer :)

What a pathetic club we have become. If any other big club is interested, we're automatically out of competition.
do you seriously not understand the very obvious advatange, in terms of attraction, of offering higher wages, the invitation to play amongst world class players, under world class managers, and to attack european competition????? when all we have to offer, is our history and hopes for a brighter future...maybe you DO understand this, but why whine about it, instead, show some optimism, show some love for the club, show some hope, show some allegiance to the flag...for we WILL rise again.

 I always imagined you as a closet al-qaeda.
Oh please, Napoli will crash and burn. We have a better future than Napoli do.
This is the same thing I said 2 days ago. This little high and mighty finish won't last long.

All season long we hear about players and people being attacked or held at gun point in Napoli. Who the fuck would ever want to play or live there is beyond me.

It's just Inler at the end of the day. I wont exactly be depressed if we do miss out on him.

Let him join that blue scum of a team, they will be struggling to make the Europa League next season (same us probably though lol)
