Yeah, kinda like when we're after a player and Chelsea/City/Real show interest in him :D Calciopoli made us too inferior on the market compared to the richest teams, but it's good to see that we're still too big to fight against for teams like Napoli, Lazio, even Roma.
Yeah :D

Regardless of prestige Napoli cannot compete with wages and I think deep down that's what swayed Inler. Of course he can say the City and project is fascinating but we all know money rules.

As much as I like Inler, if we buy him and sell Melo it will more or less be like replacing Quag with Matri. Not much difference, but lots of wasted time. That's why I'm much more interested in the Sanchez deal. That's where I see potential big improvement - replacing Pepe with Sanchez. Replacing a good player with just as good player won't change too much.

It seems some people rate Inler higher than Melo but others rate Melo higher than Inler. Weird situation.

agree on the first part, but not the second.

what has Mark delivered to be considered an elite guru?
He singlehandedly brought us Krasic in one summer (not after 3 years, like certain someone). Nick will have to give us more than just Inler if he wants to get a guru CL spot.

no way Alen, I would say Dusan had more to do with Milos joining us.

What if thew key to getting Sanchez is to get Inler with him? What if Inler was to be purchased but Melo is staying seeing Sissoko sold seeing our midfield as:

Melo, Inler, Marchisio and Pirlo?

Not that I believe any of these players are coming ...

I wonder how many forums those dudes cause havoc on every time a player is linked to Fener or Galatasaray.
I know right :D.

I'd take Inler over Melo if I really had to pick. Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather keep Melo and get Inler, but Melo tends to be too much of a liability at times. He definitely has the 'talent' to be great and on rare occasions he has showed it, but those brainfarts and simply losing possession unnecessarily time after time doesn't make him the player he should be in that position. I love Melo for his passion and I'm sure he would feel more comfortable in a team without any major holes, but right now a rock-solid player like Inler would be my pick.

Inler-Pirlo-Melo would be the mid-3 of my preference.
