Juve's interest in Serie A players is the best thing to inflate their prices. Lovely.

Melo, Bonucci, Martinez, Matri, Inler...

P.S.: I wouldn't take Inler WITH Motta and Pepe, btw.

Do they? I thought his agent just said he's open to going there?
Inler said he did not reject Napoli, this means there's an offer on the table that he did not reject. Same goes with Juve, he hasn't agreed on anything and hasn't made up his mind. Add to that our offer to Udinese appears short of what they are asking according to VS.

Why are we stuck on players from the same league? The prices always go up when you sign somebody from your own league. Go to France, there is plenty of young CMs who'd cost us much less.

Inler (from footballpress.net)

I will talk to my agent soon and see what the best option for me is. I am not concerned with money, I care more about winning titles. If I will leave Udinese, I hope to join a club aiming for gold".
aha, so it's gold he's after, crafty bastard!

I said for a week or so that Inler wouldn't come for any less than 18M. He's worth it though, probably one of the best midfielders in Serie A for two seasons in a row now.

Melo is seriously overrated on this forum, first people dont want Mascherano if it means Melo's departure and now they don't want Melo replaced with Inler.

It amazes me how shrewd other club directors are, and how clueless Marotta is. It's as if they all know he's a pushover and he doesn't have the negotiation skills to prove them otherwise.

Goes back to this being just a poor appointment really, Agnelli and the rest of the board figured here's a guy who knows how to get players on the cheap. Yes, players who are out of contract or unwanted by other clubs. When it comes to big business Marotta is in over his head.
