I genuinely don't understand this move. What about claudio and melo? Are these guys beig dropped or is only joining to sit on the bench? We should not be looking at average / slightly better than average midfielders whilst we have no left wing or proper right back!

Inler is CM, Melo is CDM Marchisio is CM box to box, but isn't particularly good at anything. I hope Melo isn't sold, cause if no top players want to come to us, might aswell keep our best players, and Melo is one of our best players. I am not sure we've signed Inler, because his weird owner and agent are saying conflicting things. I reckon he's been sold to Napoli, cause they have an agreement with Udinese, whilst we supposedly with his agent. I don't think Inler will join us.

Just because we sign a player in an area that we are already strong in to make it stronger does not mean we will not be signing players in areas that we aren't so strong in or aren't already looking.

It says a lot about Conte as a coach, I've never seen our previous coaches traveling to watch the players they're interested in. Good news.
I know, I wonder if they will show him in the stands. It's good that he is involved...its about fucking time we have a coach that has balls to say who he wants and actually is willing to see with his own eyes rather what it sounds like on paper.
