only for the sake of watching inler in a struggling national team? not really worth the time. and he also plays a more static and deeper position with switzerland than what he supposedly (as of some comments here in the last some pages) plays for udine.

I mean really. It's funny how now that once a player or manager is linked to us, all this hype surrounds games they're involved in, like it really matters. Either that, or they simply haven't paid any attention to them whatsoever. Like the thread dedicated to Siena's match tomorrow... you're not going to get a decent idea of how Conte's team actually works by watching one single match where they might get outplayed. Similarly, you're not going to get a good idea of Inler by seeing him once.

yeah, i know, i'm swiss.
but it's the inler thread and ziegler and lichtsteiner play in their usual roles, and there's a bit of confusion about how inler really plays best or in what role exactly.

true, but for people never being able to watch full udinese games it a chance to see him in action once. and against strong competition too.

What's the big deal? You won't be able to get an in depth analysis but you can get an idea of how Conte likes to run his team.

you could, but it's not really indicative of how he would play with another team. he has different conditions in terms of players and opponents at siena than he will have at juventus.
adding to that it's just one game. you can't get really much info out of one game.

No, it's not but you can see certain things- the timing of subs, reactions to going ahead or falling behind, his communication with the players, etc. Lol, it's just weird to criticise people wanting to watch a game of their new coach before he comes.

I am not a fan of Inler, but he is better than all the midfielders we have (except Melo). If we are going for Inler, then I wonder why we brought Pirlo, when we have Melo, Marchisio. not to forget Sissoko too, and are we really buying Pazienza?

pirlo provides versaility, for example he can play as a regista, or as a trequartista. something none of our other midfielders offer

i don't criticize anyone. i totally understand the curiosity. it's just that one game doesn' really lead to conclusion about players or coaches. you can't say conte would make the same subs or give the same directions in the same situation in another game because it is just the experience of one game.
