I can perhaps understand fans from outside of england, who have little understanding of the premiership, measuring Wenger purely on his lack of success in terms of trophies and titles...but ANYONE with even a fair to moderate knowledge of the premiership, of the last decade, and this season especially, who calls him a 'has been', is a fool.

Its not just his loyalty, determination, ability to 'father' players, its his tactical nous, which makes him one of the finest coaches in the game as a whole.

Arsenal have exceeded expectations ever since he arrived there, many moons ago, and maintainted a very consistent level of form, whilst spending millions less than their nearest competitors. Wenger builds teams, with his talent and a moderate budget. He encourages teams to truly PLAY, entertain, grow together, as a family of sorts...and I know of no players who have ever given him anything other than praise and respect, during and after their stints at Arsena.

I have no doubt that if he left arsenal he would have his pick of the top jobs, madrid, barca, man united, inter, milan. And yes, I would see him as a dream manager for our club.

His skills are clear. He is wily in the transfer market. Wonderful at developing players and also blending in old and young. There is also fire in his gallic belly...and a fair amount of humour. Indeed...right up there with Capello for me.

Gasperini needs to use a 4 man defence. His team plays well (last season being a nice example, insane home record as well), but I'm not surprised they concede so much. This "wing back" business doesn't appeal to me at al either.

We had Ranieri, ferrara and Zachthepenguin yet guys don't want A brilliant manager like Wenger .

Anyways i don't think Wenger will "ever" leave arsenal. Arsenal owners know they can't get a better manager than him and he's pretty much settled there. He's possibly gonna stay there for another 15 years.

The whole italian coaches been cowards and poor thing is one of those myths that we hear almost every year. (Messi can't perform in the premier league, Pazzini can't score without Cassano,... the list is pretty long ).

The guy who's team is leading the premier league right now is Italian. Mancini for the first time in manchester city's history is pretty close to winning them a spot in the champions league for next season. Lots of people out there think that England have a pretty decent shot for the world cup this year and the number one reason for that is Capello (he's record with them so far is brilliant).

If anything i think the new generation of Italian coaches are becoming more attacking oriented than before: Prandelli, spalletti, Gasperini, Allegri just to name a few.

I just find it bit Ironic that people want Benitez soo bad yet he's more defensive-oriented than any of the names that I've just mentioned.

I don't care what's our next coach's nationality is. If he's really good then we should hire him (simple as that).

Wenger isn't a possibility, if he's available and thats a big if, he'll probably go to Real. as he is the preferred option there.

Last season Perez first target was Wenger, second was Mourinho and third was Pellegrini, they couldn't get the first two so they went for the third.
