I'm not saying I like La Liga best but only look how mediocre teams perform and not only the top teams, don't just look at the winners of trophies then I say that Spain has the best league at the moment.
I prefer the Italian League. I think it has the highest caliber football and the lower teams apply some great tactics against higher ranked teams. I watch all the leagues, but nothing seems quite as high caliber as Serie A. La Liga is #2 and I actually find myself watching more Ligue 1 games than EPL games. Bundesliga is ok.

I love Juve and I like good football wether they speak Italian, Spanish or Chinese, that doesn't matter to me. I like good moves and great goals. I loved the games between Inter and Milan defensively two years ago. What can I say, I am an addict of good football.

Same here. I like the fact that each league is different. I fear that with the de-nationalization of clubs and leagues, everything will become mundane and similar. Contrasting styles, National and Regional pride are things that make this sport so great.

and that is exactly why I hate Arsenal with all those froggies or Inter with their Argies. I long for the days when there were only three foreigners allowed at a team.

I wish that is how it still was. It is a shame. Is it really necessary to go foreign to win though? Milan had 7 Italians in the final 3 CL games last year. That is a lot. Why are so many teams going foreign?

I guess football is following the guideline of Europe. All citizens in Europe are free to work wherever they want and the same applies for football. Italy cannot deny foreign players to play in Italy only because they are Greek or French.

P.S. Serie A is not a shitty league. I have already stated it is my favourite league obviously but I hate how weak it is becoming. Soon it will be like Bundesliga.
it WAS weak

but now the old boys are back. not only was a i pleased juve went back up, but also genoa and napoli, all thats missing is relegating inter and replacing them with bologna/piacenza/bari but i'd settle for grosseto

I am looking forward to next season, you need a good rivalry. Sure I want Juve to win the next seven years but it is more satifying if Inter or Milan make it hard for us.
I didn't see a single serie A game last year but things are looking promising now.
The boys are back in town.

Old news coming from you. This is everything you have to say, your only defense besides "Soap it" or "Forza Del Piero" or "Hot dog" and the rest of boring shit from your mouth.

The truth is that you are in love with me and this Forum and you have no life, that´s why you take me as a serious threat to you. I read you like a book.
hahahahhahahah:lol2: "Hello Bin Laden" serious threat ehhh? :lol2:

I was going to read your post but then I saw you´re not too bright and totally biased to Calcio like many folks here.

If you bothered to check the real facts, you would have realised that 3 English teams were in Champions League Final in last 3 seasons (Liverpool twice and Arsenal once) and 1 English team lifting the trophy (Liverpool).

In addition to that last season 3 English teams were in CL semi-final, 1 team in 2005/06, 2 teams in 2004/05 and in 2003/04 1 team.

Ummm..... Let´s now compare that to Italians:

In 2003/04 0 Italian teams in Semi-finals. (Chelsea, Monaco, Porto, Deportivo)

In 2004/05 Milan lost in final. Except Milan no Italian teams in semi-finals. (Chelsea, Liverpool, Milan, PSV Eindhoven)

In 2005/06 again only Milan in Semi-Finals. (Arsenal, Barcelona, Villareal, Milan)

In 2006/07 again only 1 Italian in semi-final and in Final. (Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United)

So, I ask you where are those great Italian teams?? Nowhere. They got owned in Europe just like you.
Porto won in 03/04, Liverpool got Lucky and won in PK's, Barca won 05/06, and oh wait Milan destroyed Man U and Beat Liverpool to win CL Milan have 9 titles 2nd behind Real, No English Team Is Near That

the great italian teams are in Serie A at least we develop our players and all teams except Inter start Italians, can you say that for the EPL, No

and about me being owned i must have missed that when us Italians owned your precious EPL teams in the Champions Leauge last season, because we win in Europe

based on the last ten years, italian team : 2 champions, 5 runners up
epl team: 2 champions, 2 runners up

stats do show the real picture

My point is that you start accepting that English club football in recent years is stronger and more succesful no matter how many foreigners they have and you should start acknowledging it, not ignoring it and be totally biased like Badass_Devil.

Azzurri domination on iternational stage? They haven´t won shit since 1982. For 24 years they haven´t nothing, 0 trophies, the domination was between Brazil and France, so what the hell are you talking about? Get your facts straight and look beyond your obvious Italian bias.

In the last 15 years Italians have been known more by their flopping than success. They haven´t won a single World Cup from 1982 until 2006 and flopped on WC 1998 and 2002 and they certainly flopped on EURO 1992, 1996 and 2004.

So, take that bias and shove it up you mouth and accept that EPL is superior to Serie A.
how has the EPL been more successful exactly i don't see any facts for this?

actually its now 2007 so we won the World Cup last year, also we were in the finals in 1994 and semi's in 1990 & 1998, besides we have the 2nd most WC in the world one behind Brazil, France has 1 WC thats it, just because you win one tournament dosen't mean you dominate anything, and before you talk about Euros Italy also has 1 the same as France

Just because people like Serie A more than EPL isn't biased, its opinion, except that

Serie A is weaker than before there is no denying it. There is too much corruption. The gap between the big team and the smaller teams is too great both squad wise and financially. Add to that the fact that Violence is a big problem and how can people say that everything is just fine? Sure Italy won the WC, Milan won the CL but that should now overshadow the bigger problems at hand, namely the violence and corruption.

Violence yes, but that is all over Europe. Besides Italy is working on that problem. Corruption? All just a conspiracy in IMO. There is no real evidence. Just a plot by fans of Inter to hurt all the big clubs of Italy (namely Milan and Juve) and put Inter at the top.

those days are over, there are hardly any incidents in England
nowadays hooliganism is spreading to Russia, Poland, Romania...
There will always be isolated incidents but it looks like the majority of incidents are in eastern Europe.

I don't support Italy, I support the US National Team because it is indeed my country. However, I respect the Italian culture, especially the Italian-American community in the States, and I love the Serie A. Roberto Baggio is the first notable footballer I can remember watching in my life, and he, along with the Italy of 1994 during the World Cup in the States, had impacts on me. But considering I'm American I think it's sort of a duty to support my country, however I do indeed have a weak spot for Italy.

And you have stated in the past that Serie A is a "shitty" league. I do not think the situation in Italy will become so poor that we will be considered equivilent to the Bundesliga, as the Serie A still has many millionaires funding clubs and clubs such as Napoli, Genoa and of course us are coming back up.

And in case some didn't hear, 5000 supporters were at Marano for Napoli's first training session. Apparently it was so crazy that Reja had to cancel practice. If Italian clubs garner more passion such as this, and if the financial practices in said country will improve, there is no reason why the Serie A should slide to the Bundesliga level of football.

So tell me, why do support France over Croatia?
