i think to say owning some of the top european talent is a bit of an overstatement, sorensen's ability to stand up to his opponent is good, but even so we must not forget he has other aspects to his game that really need working on before he is a more accomplished player, as highly as i rate sorensen, i still feel storari has been our player of the season so far, and unfortunately to say since Buffon's return the difference has shown not just in their personal performances, but even the organisation of the defence hasn't looked as solid under buffon this season, maybe it is just me but storari seems to communicate with his defenders better than buffon has

He has done well against the top in Italy ala Eto'o and Ibra...you don't get much better than that.

agreed. but as an 18 year old displaying some fine performances against such players is remarkable IMO. Granted not the finished article yet, but get the kid some experience and watch him grow

Sorensen has got a different style and everything but he's still great, will be WC in the future.
