I guess I can make a comment about him now when I watched him a bit. He looks like a very good defender who, with a reason, still looks unconfident.

That said I'd like us to buy this guy. He seems very good defensively and wins many one-on-one situations while he's strong as hell and good in the air. Price is laughable and our scout(s) deserve credit for this guy without a debt. But I'd like us to use him in CB rotation with Chiellini and Bonucci. I know he's doing well at the moment as a RB but it's not his position and I don't think I'd settle him there. I'm not a fan of defense based full backs and I see him as one, cause I don't think he can improve in attack much.

I like him, he seems to be a rock...and young. My concern is that he needs to grow in confidence when distributing the ball once he has it. His defense and position is excellent.

Susan, don't you think we'd need a defensively sound RB, considering Krasic occupies our right flank?
No, I actually don't.

I never though any team will benefit from a defensive minded full backs. It's like playing with 3, or potentially 4 central backs. Krasic runs a lot and covers right side while defending, it's not like he's stuck to the front line. We need crosses and we can't rely on Krasic only because our game will became very predictable sooner or later. I also think Milos would benefit much more if he had some runner on the right to play with, exchange passes and make sweet through balls. Something that we're not going to see from Sorensen. And no, I'm not saying Motta is a clear choice.

Yep, true. Many times he won tackles and miss passed because of the lack of confidence. Still, he's very young and those are one of his first matches here so it's understandable. I think he can improve and so far I like him a lot.

Krasic does run a lot, but he barely covers anything in defence. I even feel he is exceptionally poor when it comes to defensive awareness, but I'm sure that can improve with time.

Oh, and Motta is a very clear choice.

Of what we don't need.

He's really not that bad considering he's been asked to play so high up the pitch. He positions and presses relatively well without the ball, he just can't man mark or tackle which is natural. He and Aquilani managed to bully a Genoa player into giving the ball away last game which was sweet and goes to show that even our more offensively minded players can do their bit.

juventus to give up on dzeko, and using sorensen in a deal to land maxi lopez :sergio:
No quotes.

Nothing more than idle speculation designed to make people get their knickers in a twist..

A spell at full back can do a CB a lot of good, given that moving into wide areas is when many CBs look most vulnerable.

Alot of young CBs get their first breaks in senior footie as fullbacks, to get experience. And Sörensen is as young as a CB can get in senior footie prolly.

Didn't you guy see some sweet switch side passes in Genoa game and one pass setting up a chance for Iaquinta? He is 18 so he can still improve.
