Moggi only managed to postpone the end for a few more year, the end was coming right after we lost the Agnelli's.
Our defenses were systematically tried with the EPO trial, media tricks like the Canna video, sport newspapers and tv channel preaching anti-Juve, provocative challenging by the refs and officials etc.
We proved that we were politically weak, it was later proved that we were also divided within, so we gave them the opportunity to strike...

We are still weak, ambitioned players like Ribery, talented enough to choose a club of their will can see that...
I dont see realistic chances to sign Ribery from Bayern either...
Ok.

Ribéry was a distinct possibility of being signed by us a the start of the 2007/2008 season on our return to Serie A.

The fee then would have been within our reach. Not now.

We will have around €40m to splash out, net of player sales. I see us needing in order of importance :-

1st AMF Probably Diego.
2nd RB Probably Di Silvestri
3rd CB Probably Zapata.

LB is needed more than CB IMO...

I'd pay more to get Ribery instead of having Diego or Silva...

Can we please stop mentioning this talentless, mistake-prone kid. As hard as it is to accept it, it's a fact that he manages to be worse even than Grygera on his worst day.
Exactly i said it before and i'll say it again, a few good performances for the U21's doesn't make the kid special. Even Alexandre Song was good for the U21 team and he's as average as they get.

If this kid was special he would be getting games for Lazio.

Frankly I do not see Juve getting a LB nor a CB, Criscito will probably be called back to kill 2 positions with 1 kid.
Auriado if not loaned out will make the step up too.

Which is not a bad thing if ample cash is needed to launch a huge bid for Mr. Ribery.

The only other position that needs reinforcement is at RB.

I just find it funny that some fans are so completely pessimistic about Juve's chances on getting the man or any other top transfer targets. There is an urgent need for long term & quality replacements in this team & not even Secco's inexperience will prevent certain star signings happening in the future.
