for now, you can disable javascript on the browser - chrome was giving me the warnings - and use whatever anti-spyware, anti-virus you have, just in case ... mine haven't detected any crap installed so far, but just in case.

swag was also suggesting restoring to an earlier date - I think this stuff started on the 22nd
