I'm actually thinking of sending a petition to the WE creators to start producing for PC. This is ridiculous.

I've decided that I won't buy another video game console and I almost came close to doing what you did Majed and buying it just for WE6, but I held my ground. :p

I'm serious about this petition thing. Anyone else interested? Is there some kind of online signature petitions that one can organize and send to these $%#$@#$!!

    Please advise.
There is Winning Eleven 7 International (USA version) now available for the PC and PS2 in the USA...though i'm sure you know by now. :)

how about this for a late reply! (10 frikkin months later :D )

I like it more than Fifa, because u need tactics to play PES. In PES there is a solid defence when u attack, while in fifa there is always only 3 men in the defence while the rest is running on the midfield.

In PES u can score all sorts of goals, long shots, header, etc, etc...

In FIFA u can never score on a long shot the keeper will always get it, and all the goals usually look the same (solo from the defence and shot past the keeper). In PES its more realistic in front of goal because u have a shoot barometer and its hard to control it from shot to shot, becase when u run fast with many moves the barometer is very fast, when u run slow the barometer is more controlled.

And in PES when u try to buy a player, then the player can actually say no and the transfer fails :eek:
Wrong-o. For me Nedved and Del Piero have scored from very far out many of times, even about 40 yards out. I think Fifa 2004 is a great game; the thing I like most about it over the competitors is that the Leagues and players are officially licensed for Fifa 2004.

you've never played WE i take it :D

most of the teams have the official names. The teams that dont show the correct name, the official names are chanaged very slightly. (for example: Brazil: Ribaldo is obviously Rivaldo, and Roberto Larcos is obviously R.C.) so you always know who you're playing. Also, the edit menu allows you to make the one letter adjestments.
Because the teams aren't licensed, the teams are called similar names:
    Juve : Piemonte
    Milan: Lombardia
    Arsenal: London

etc. you can easily know the team because the kits, and players are all correct. you can also edit the team name to call it juve.

    ...
If you have a mod chip installed in your PS2, and can DL patches, apply them to your version and burn a new copy that has everything perfect. (EVERYTHING! They even have the nike vapor, adidas preds, Lotto, diadora..etc)

I wonder if there's a US version and another International version!! Do you know?
Here are the winning eleven virsions since Summer 2002 (when i swicthed from Fifa)

    • Winning Eleven 6 (Japan - PS2 ONLY)
    • Pro Evolution Soccer 2 (Europe - PS2 ONLY)
    • Winning Eleven 6 Final Evolution (Japan - It's an official update version of WE6 - PS2 and Game Cube)
    • Winning Eleven 6 International (USA - PS2 ONLY)
    • Winning Eleven 7 (Japan - PS2 AND PC)
    • Pro Evolution Soccer 3 (Europe - PS2 AND PC)
    • Winning Eleven 7 International (Japan - an official update version of WE7 - PS2 AND PC) --> they should have called this "WE7 Final Evolution" to be consistant, but they chose the name "international" which confuses it with the USA version.
    • Winning Eleven 7 International (USA PS2 AND PC)

If you want to know the differene between the WE7I USA version and the better updated WE7I Japan version look at the color of the "7" on the CD cover. USA's is Red and Japan's is Blue.

    .............
At the End of this year, another version of Pro Evolution soccer will be released in Europe. Its title isn't known now exactly, but it's special because it'll be an XboX version of PES.

PES3 is the European version of WE7.
