Fernando Torres was excellent for me in my Atletico Madrid game.

Currently I'm in my second season with Newcastle. Atm we're 5th in the Prem behind Manure, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham which is a bit disappointing as we finished 2nd last year but it's still very early in the campaign so there's time to turn things around.

Our CL group consists of us, Real Madrid, Juve and Rangers. We lost 3-1 away to Rangers and beat Real 3-0 at home. I'm confident of beating Rangers at home so if we can get a result at home to Juve then we should be able to finish 2nd. If not 3rd will have to do.

My team looks like this:

GK - Given, Smith

DF - Carr, Hughes, de Jong, O'Brien, Bramble, Taylor, Kompany, Tudor, Bernard, Dede

MF - Butt, Bowyer, Jenas, Sneijder, Viana, Robert

FW - Cavenaghi, Tevez, Kluivert, Bellamy, Shearer

:D :D :D :D

Torres contract got unprotected, clubs got interested, I offered him around for £35m.
Barcelona accepted, in the meantime Real Madrid offered him a contract straight up, which would have given me £35m in compensation.

In the end Torres accepted Barca's offer. I cancelled the deal though, because I thought £35m is a bit stingy.

So then I started offering to the elite clubs again....this time for £45m. Only Real Madrid accepted, and Torres accepted thir contract.

So now he's leaving me for a lump sum of £45m in December 2005. :) :) :)

Check out this guy. I'm trying to get him from Schalke, but they're playing hardball. Still, when I want something I take it.

I'm managing Roma. Good, solid team with a lot of talent. First thing I did was transfer list Totti and extend Cassano's contract. Bayern has offered me 45 mil for Totti, now I can only hope he'll accept.
