What the fuck have they done to staff signing in general. First when a team needs a manager it takes over a month to hire one, at any point in the season. Second, when you hire staff as a manager it requires work permits in England and lasts 15 days to sign a fucking scout.
Arsenal fired Arteta in May 2021. They agreed a deal with Sarri at the end of June, he was waiting for a work permit until July 18th. Mancini quits Italy post day after Euros. Sarri signs with Arsenal, resigns a day later and takes the Italy post. Mancini agrees to join Arsenal, still waiting for a WP two days before their first game of the season. ......

I dont know about if your team will "eat mine alive" but I just finished my first season with unrealistic trophies.
100pts in the league (won obviously)
CI - 3-0 win over Lazio in the final
CL - 4-0 win over Chelsea (Morata proved his clutch with a hattrick)
But it is more about luck with injuries as Juve clearly lacks depth. I had to play Khedira a few games just to avoid others getting tired (Correia and Fagioli also played 1 game each)

In general their staff signing is really backwards. A youth coach from Barca for example will never sign for Valencia to be a first team coach because 'working for Valencia is a step down on Barca', doesn't care that it's an improvement in job role.

They were wrong in the past, any Brazilian without an EU passport would need a work permit to work in the UK.
I'm not buying the game this year but there being so many flaws on early release is not surprising. Do they ever get these right from the beginning? There was even that inflated transfer bug in last year's game months after release. There was also the 1 attribute bug on release that was essentially a gamebreaker until it was patched.
It's a big game but it's so popular I don't know how these things make it through testing. There should be hundreds or thousands of hours of gameplay before it is released.

Oh and one of the things that is really bugging me for years now is AI's logic with squad numbers. Offensive players regularly wearing #6 or #13, new signings stealing numbers from current players etc.
They added bonuses for assists this year, but release clause starting from a certain point is not available, only expiring at a certain point. And you cannot send a player on loan, give them an option to buy, but then also have a buyback if they buy him.
I know I'm nitpicking, but this is all pretty standard in today's world.
Also, player swaps are completely stupid. AI has a player on TL, I offer them a player of similar value + 10m for example. They want the player + 50m or something ridiculous. I buy that player for the asking price, they come a week later asking for my player for the same valuation I offered them in the first place.

Right now he hates me, because I refuse to loan him out. Not because I am using him, super fringe in my squad, still raw. But I wanna keep him 3 straight seasons, so he can become home grown. Loans can be useless for development at times and they dont qualify for home grown if you loan them out.

I got Donnarumma for free and I want to sell Woj (Woj is better but is a decade older) - Despite Woj being among the best - no offers arrive...
Bonucci is good but I want to sell him as I have other defenders who are just as good and much younger - Again mission impossible
Ramsey - He gave a great season but I wanted to sacrifice him due to him being 30 and his value is now at the peak at 55M - Even when I lower his price - nothing...
Also all three protest when I try to sell them.
Needless to say D.Costa is a huge liability as no one wants him..
