Naah Im an offline guy myself.
The last time I played online was more than 20 years ago - I remember selling Zidane to fund Aimar while my attempts to get Vieri got rejected by one of my friends.
I also used to play with Valencia in which I won La Liga but lost in the CL final against my friend who played with Barcelona (he finished 18pts below me in the league in 2nd place)

I usually play offline for 3 seasons max as within 3 seasons I always win the CL and I usually play up until the CL win or one season after - After that I kind of lose the thrill of winning it.

Once it gets ready for download I might buy it on ebay (they have a shared account or some crap like that)

Kyle this will be helpful to use before first game. Sadly during the beta (so far, first hour out), it wont work for club names, these fixes, but rest of the real names it fixes. But this means I wont start with Juve sadly. Maybe when full game comes out.

Quit the game and follow these instructions, create a new save and Juve name is fixed

Yeah, went in game, and it fixes Juve name indeed, so I can take Juve. But no real logos/kits in it, cant immerse myself into that lol so I'm just copying my entire graphics folder from fm20 to fm21 lol (its huge).

ANYONE ELSE not playing in UK - what a bum
Scouting used to be a strength in FM, the last years has left less and less impressed. Even the squads outside of UK are wrong. Youth players are completely randomly assigned abilities unless they are known talents and they are even in the wrong youth teams. Reserve players are in the wrong squads and vice versa. Or as everyone knows, the struggles of Atalanta to keep all their 7 GK in the squad to stay fit.

then there are of course something else... UK players that are outside of UK. Yup, still beasts in comparison to reality. Or as everyone knows, Ramsey is not famous by Arsenal fans to be completely useless defensively. Or is he? Yes, works hard, but can't recycle balls for his entire career.

Honest question though. Besides transfers, have the databases been updated or are they the same for the beta as in FM20? I can't see any difference. Some minor differences on some players, like Danilo can now play LB and CB.

P.S English talents biasm in SI is nothing new. But to fair, without checking game, the english youth amongsts the strongest in the game in real life.

I just poked around, there's no scientific evidence here but me and scooby doo think we are onto something

Yeah sure, but even so players like James Madison and the likes have attributes as if being key players in teams winning CL every year. Closed the game now but my impression as exaggeration on those I did poke on. They are fine players, but none of them are that good.

I'm about to fire it up, I'm doing something foolish LOL, just to test it out, heard FM21 supposed to be faster, so testing it, I loaded every league in the game except the asian ones 129k players. Lets gooooooooo.


I'm starting with Dortmund (researching their fitness coach @DAiDEViL ), will do a Juve one later after the graphics pack is finished and everything is smooth.

What leagues/database settings did you pick?

I'm still on first day, maybe wasnt best idea to pick Dortmund, they broke as fuuuuuuuuuck Cant even offer decent salaries to loan players. How much does Juve start with?

I started with about 34mil in transfer budget and an additional 400k p/w in salary. Important cause I plan on playing back three and I need probably two CBs first window to do it. Chiello too old and slow and Danilo is shit.

Leagues I went with Italy, England, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Argentina, Brazil and USA

Had my first meeting with the players. I told them I plan to win Serie A and CL and they agreed/ positive reaction. I then told them I plan to win Coppa Italia and they got mad because that's unrealistic

Yeah I had the same reaction with coppa italia, mutiny because I told them coppa italia is realistic? wtf

I play a super offensively 4-1-3-2 (one CM, 3 AML-AMC-AMR) set up. Which means I need to get winger depth/rotation, so I signed one of my favourites Marcus Thuram for just 14m lol can play natural striker too. And since Juve were so cheritable with giving Bayern Costa, I loaned Coman from them, very expensive loan. I may play felix correira a bit too in main team, played him in pre-season for fitness issues/absences, and he was scoring goals for fun.

So I got to September 12 2020 and am now stuck on a weird screen. Its telling me that I need to register the U23 squad (regular "must respond" registration email) for the upcoming season.

Once I click on respond option it the game takes me to U23 squad screen but there is no option to actually register the players. Don't know where this is coming from. There is no option to delegate this responsibility, no option to register U23 players so no way to advance the game forward.

Did you have to register the U23 squad?

Never heard of that before, maybe is a bug. Check sigames forum, and if it is, report it. Funny enough I just stopped playing at 11th september...


I hope I dont have this issue when I wake up tommorrow/today
