It's just so annoying the game makes you play only one way. I haven't been able to be successful with anything other than high press, possession, attacking football. If I try to drop back and play organized defense w/o the ball any team just bombards me with 25 shots.

How the fuck is this even possible? Most of the game I was at 60+% possession and when I put attacking mentality on for the last 20 minutes RM then reduced the difference...
Either I'm completely incompetent or nothing about this game makes sense.

Hungry chickens just broke all history books for the club founded in 1886, we have never played so high up in the league system. This year we're in Sky Bet League 2! Due to the success in recent years our economy is improving. We've sold 158 season tickets this year so, steadily improving... but...
the economy is still not great. It seems we're in a supersmall village. The board, however, are looking to build a new stadium because they don't like renting a stadium in another town. The new stadium will have the capacity of 5000, but we're averaging like 800 now so I guess that's just due to regulation. This is still in a very early and speculative stage as they are looking for a site.
Splashed out big during pre-season, found a regen for €3.1K, only had 33k left and couldn't find many worthwhile to sign. Hoping to stay up and build reputation. Our budgets are nowhere near any other team in the league...

Most of Chelski's best players just been transfer listed, half by request. Anyone seen this before?
I'm stacked at AM and the whole non-EU thing, but can't resist signing Foden. I actually sold them Almada for something like €130m (cost €10m), he has amazing attributes but never really worked that well for me.
Do you guys like the new ME? I have mixed feelings, it seems to have fixed some of the most glaring issues (long balls, 1 on 1s) but in doing so i feel the game is now almost too easy

I've seen 3-4 when a new manager comes in and doesn't want those players. But never that many and by their request.

I still miss a lot of 1-1. Long balls seem pretty much fixed. But now I can't get my strikers any chances through the middle. Mostly wingers scoring.
And they never pass cut backs from the byline for ongoing midfielders, just shoot in the side netting from impossible angles.
Yesterday I had a game and only 3 highlights in the 1st half (I watch on key) and all 3 were my CBs just holding the ball at center field until the opp striker steals it and goes 1-1 with my keeper. Three 1-1s, only losing 1-0.
Also, seems like possession stats are fucked up completely sometimes. I have games where I have like 60% possession and within 5 minutes the possession flips to 56% for opponent. Or AI has 60-70% all game and I have 20-4 shots advantage and win 3-0...

have you tried using wingers and two strikers? ive been getting plenty of crosses resulting in goals that way. i think its because if the positions taken up when you have two strikers
you still have to play wide. CAMs are still completely useless. they dont even touch the ball except in the occassional instance where they pass backwards. CMs primary use is to dribble forward a bit and then inevitably pass out wide.

Is anyone else having this? It happened once in 100 games before maybe and suddenly since yesterday at least twice per game. Just for no reason CBs are losing the ball and letting opponent strikers 1-1 with my GK...

Is there any way to make wingers and dribbler FBs pass like ever? Right now for me it's just like playing FIFA with someone online who just spams the sprint button with CR, Sane etc. My wingers take the ball from halfway line, sprint past the FB, get in the box and just shoot from the baseline. There's no cutbacks and return balls EVER.
Also, and they had this issue for years now, players never pass to each other for an open goal. Two strikers going 1-1 with the GK, the one with the ball never passes to the other and almost exclusively misses.

haven't played with blyth since posting, probably over two months, started a new save few days ago, thought I might give it a go with Scottish League 2 new boys, Cove Rangers, since East Stirlingshire are not in the playable leagues.
First season went well, I got promoted, McAllister (got the MC right first time) smashed the league. He's on massive wages btw, like 20% of club's WB.

Anyone notice top clubs approach you regardless of preformances this game, i am 16th with Spal and shithousing my way through the league, boring route one football, ive got terrible media managing reputations. Juve approach me and offer me a contract after an interview???

Left my hungry chickens. Made it to league 2 and was undefeated and on the way to sky bet league 1. Was offered the job at Sheffield United and took it, they were stuck in championship and going nowhere. After loosing heavily the first game we went on and won almost every game and thus made it all the way to EPL. Started really well and were in the top for a while but have dropped further and further down since then. 8 games to go and we're positioned 8th. Won against Leicester, Chelski but lost out to Liverpool in Carabao cup, but made it all the way to the finals in FA cup! Overall very satisfied with the first full season.
