gerrard that far back?!

I'm playing 4-1-1-3-1 (looks like a cross)
Johnson-Carra-Kyrg-Aurelio/Insua (just got his first call up, wonder if that was programmed
--------------Masch as DM
--------------Lucas as box-to-box
------kuyt---gerrard----Benayoun
--------------Torres

so pretty similar to what we play IRL. So far it hasn't been great though, tbh. Torres hasn't scored much, Kuyt sucks. BTW Kuyt and Benayoun are playing as modified "inside forwards"

Barcelona have submitted a $13m offer for Camo... I'm stalling.... Dont know if I can afford to send another fan fave packing, but thats a lot of money for an older guy... I want to get younger.

Widen your wings. Instead of playing them as AMCs, play them as AMRLs. Have the Jew and Babel cut in, and the Cup and Alberto cross from the line. Play to the feet of Torres. Goals Galore!

that's basically what I do, they're supposed to be coming from wide and cutting in, with the wingbacks providing low crosses for torres, lots of throughballs, etc :(

As a counterpart to what you said, I would say:

press conferences-never will be that great anyway, would need a ton of work and data for them to really good

ME is smoother, but it's true that it's nothing amazing

the UI is nice in that it's more flexible, but it's not put together very well. The light colours also suck, can't try the dark skin with my demo

For the average player, the tactical changes are great, one no longer needs to have a somewhat bizarre obsession with sliders and notches in order to design good tactics. It does create another layer between the player and the actual match mechanics, which is unfortunate, but for most people I think it's a definite improvement. It now speaks the same language as the fans
If they don't want to put the work in on press conferences then they should have removed them.

Smoother ME is not even worth listing as a plus

The UI is trying to be 'flexible' but it's just being pretentious and less useful

There's no such thing as an average FM2009 player, you go balls deep or you fuck off and play CM

Zebina, Grosso/DC are tearing up the wings :D.

Set them as attacking wingbacks and watch them go!

Is anyone else having trouble getting Diego to do anything useful though?

Same expirience with Grosso and DC, not with Zebina and Diego. Diego was fantastic in my games, he was creating chances for himself and others easily.
