In what way it is dead? All teams are still competing as far as I know. Inter aren't 20+ points ahead of 2nd place as it used to be before..

The race is still on pretty much on the hot spots. We're the only ones who are doomed.

True, it's a fight for Scudetto, fight between mediocre teams who would get trashed in Europe.

Milan, who's average year on the bench is 34.5 is 3rd, same Milan who go humiliated in the CL. This season Italy didn't show anything in Europe. Roma too and they are second.

Serie A is weak.

I do understand you guys. But does that mean this season is dead? Without respect to Europe and CL at all as that's a different convo all together.

As for Juve.. I am just as heart broken as everyone else.

Yamen is right, I don't care how you guys classify it but this league is anything but dead. Just look at Roma's results under Ranieri and tell me that they don't deserve 1st place. And watch Merda playing their game in Europe, ffs they screwed Chelsea on home ground where the most optimistic of their fans was praying for a draw.

This league is on while for sure Juve is off.

It's on when you only consider Italy. Funny thing, why did you mention only Inter in Europe? Care to share and tell us the success of others?

Hoori is right, how the hell can league be good, just look where we are and if things were right, we'd still get 4th spot. It's not even far! This league is a joke and there are no other words to describe it. Germans are taking the 4th CL spot, it should be pretty clear when you only mention that.

Ok then lets share the success of others, lets take Viola for an example they played their game from the qualification round till the knockout stage. They knocked Sporting out, then moved on to humiliate Pool both home and away just to follow that with a win over Lyon to deserve topping their group. But not just that, they had their fist game in the knockout stage against Bayern where they also played their game and if it wasn't for a clear offside goal scored by the Bavarian they would have had a much easier game in the 2nd leg to look for. Yet even with that result they went on to defeat Bayern at home 3-2 and if it wasn't for their injuries in their backline I bet they would have not conceded those goals from the Germans and actually went through to the quarter final.

Another team who is in fact Juventus, the team that beat fulham deservedly on its home ground 3-1 and if it wasn't for the injuries and suspensions and ofcourse the bad referring. They(we) would have knocked Fullham out.

As for Milan, they played a good game at home and manure were lucky to have a kid like Rooney who scored two goals out of nothing despite Milan imposing the english right from start. While they certainly blew in the 2nd leg but that wouldn't have happened if they had the result they deserved in the 1st leg IMO.

That may have been a disastrous journey for Italian team in European competitions on paper but really, many teams deserved better if it wasn't for special circumstances.

Dusan, I guess we are just stepping on each other's foot rather than getting the idea :)

For you This league is weak because of represenation in Europe, for JBF and I it is based on Serie A it self with no respect to Europe.

As for CL, well you can't say serie A suck just because we didn't get 4th spot. We aren't 4th material and credit also to other teams who were performing for it.

Sorry to burst your bubble Dooz, but no team worth a pinch of shit gives a flying fuck about the Europa League. It will probabyt cost Italy another team in the UCL, but the Europa League is seen nothing more than a distraction by most managers, directors, coaches and players.

If you look at it Italian teams on a whole actually performed better this season (in the UCL) compared to last season. I think the only way is up for Italian teams as we hit rock bottom already.

No Italian team in the the QFs of the UCL last season, yet this year Inter are there and will probably be in the semis as well. Fiorentina can be counted extremely unfortunate not to be in the last 8 after they were robbed against Bayern.

Only really Juventus embarrased the Italian league in Europe this season. Milan made it to the second round of the UCL at least, even though they did get their arses handed to them by the Mancs.

And just as a side note, the EPL the so called best league in the world has definitely declined in quality this season IMO. The match between the two top teams in the country last night wasnt that great at all. Been a pretty bland season as well.

I know nobody gives a sh#t about EL but isn't that sad actually? They would get a bit less money and the number of coefficients is by no means any less in that competition. You can only blame Italy for that.
