I doubt he's 20m, more like 30-35 which is totally worth it.

Higuain = Zebina + Sali + Grygera wages. Good deal :D
The problem will happen inside the locker room. Even if we somehow find money to pay 8m eur per year to Higuain, guys like Buffon and Diego will surely start complaining why they're getting so much less than Higuain.
It's not like we'll be signing Ronaldo or Messi. In that case Buffon or Diego won't complain about their wages. But about Higuain you can be sure that they won't accept his wages without asking for a pay rise themselves.

except that higuain is proving himself in the greatest team in the world is is outshinging the other superstars in the team. I don't think they will think of him as a good player only. the guy is clearly world class.

but it is irrelevant as we will sign cassano anyway

Gigi, would he really cause a stir? I'm not sure, all he wants is a good team to play with, other than that he seems content with what he has in wage (not sure if he's coming up to the end of his contract though). I'd be concerned about Diego, but he isn't in a position to request more, because he hasn't exactly had an inspiring season.

All in all I think we have a pretty good locker room to be in with guys like Del Piero, Gigi and Cannavaro who wouldn't let players get too full of themselves. Which reminds me about Fabio. He could do a great thing for us if there was ever a deal with them being teammates in Madrid.

what andy said was right tho, reals transfers have been stupid. This is the team who got rid of eto'o, cambiasso, seedorf, snejider etc all for penuts

real want rooney and augero, their strategy has always been "buy new regardless", then sell one of their older players who was amazing cheaply. Spanish reports claim that Cauldron wants to make his own team and thats why he wants a new striker.

I tell you he'd get forced out eventually , and it wont be 40 million, real will get too excited buy a new striker and sell him thinking they wont need him anymore.

im just waiting for it to happen. ppl keep talking about our defense but seem to have forgotton amauri stunt in the season, we need a new striker pazzini would be a good option too.

As for roma and ranieri , well roma were actually worse than use defensively , in came ranieri and solved a lot of it out, just goes to prove what a decent manager could do.

How many of those matches have you watched? He's not a classic striker so he's not supposed to bang in goals, but he does. His impact on the pitch is great. He had many assists I think and he's a great player.
i never watched him closely ... only occasionally when watching the odd roma game here or there ... but what he looks like is not that important is it ? its more important what he achieves and to enlighten you with some statistics:

vucinic in serie A
season----Matches-----Goals----Assists
09/10-------25-----------6---------7-----
08/09-------27----------11---------3-----
07/08-------33-----------9----------7----

considering that he plays as forward often enough (always when totti was injured in the past) or as second striker/winger that is not a really a BEAST ....

Mickey Mouse competition.

So that means Barca are by default a micky mouse team.

You can't have it both ways, surely if its a mickey mouse competition and Barcelona aren't capable of winning it(at least at the moment), then Barca are small time themselves.

So if they really are a flop why is Barca not ahead of them in the league.

Can't i say Barca flopped in the Liga since they are behind the "flop" Real Madrid in the standings??
