Well exactly, I don't hate his ability, he is very exciting. A very exciting complete asshole, at least when he gets on the pitch. Great players have an edge to them, right now he has a bit too much edge, more like a razor blade

I don't want to speak for anyone else. But my thoughts on this is that Balotelli is far from being one of the best right now, which is normal because he is still very young. But he has the ingredients to be one of the best in the future. Whether he realizes his potential or not, only time can tell. But its hard for anyone to argue that the kid isn't talented or that he isn't showing potential.

Nope. And in this case you're biased about him. I still remember you saying he's not not good even if we don't look at his attitude. You can't be any more biased than that mate. If you aren't can you tell me what makes you think that? You hate Inter, some many of their players, I don't know if that goes for Balotelli as well but there is no reason to say he's overhyped now. There are others for who you can say that, like Bonucci or 70% of youth players, the next Nesta, Del Piero etc.

There's a reason people think good of him. There's no player that's good as him at his age. His play is different and it looks mature like he's 25yo. Yeah he has great abilities. He can play as a winger as good as he's in forward. His dribbling is great, shot and he's good in the air. Tall guy that it's hard to beat in any duel, hard to mark. What is missing?

Yeah, Lippi is weird and many people don't want him at Juve but surprisingly enough they agree with his views. He rates Quaq, so? IMO he's an average player at best so it doesn't have to mean he's always right. Balotelli is a must for Italy at this WC. Lippi will leave and we'll see who comes, but Balotelli will get his place and he can easily become the vital part of Italy's forward because he's better than all of them together. Pazzini, Quaq, Boriello and co. are nothing compared to him. And yes, he can become a WC striker eventually judging by his potential.

Everyone can be average, so one bad match doesn't have to mean anything. But so far he's doing great and he's taking his chances. We'll see him in a couple of years. Ass or not, he's going to be a great player on the field.

Ibrahimovic was/is a prick but he made. It doesn't have to mean that bad attitude kills the potential. Balotelli is doing his best on the field, so that can make him a top striker. What happens outside doesn't mean much, in this case at least. He's slowly making top class striker Eto'o sit on the bench. A player who's worth 40mln euros and who was/is great.

Cassano is much worse than Balotelli IMO, at least 10 times worse attitude.

But putting aside his clear attitude issues*, what do you think about his footballing talent? Do you think that if he sorts out his attitude he can be a good player?

I surely don't think he's that promising like some of you do TBH. I think he's okay player nothing special in him. I don't see him anywhere next to Rooney, Pato, Higuain etc.. I don't see him becoming like one of these. He doesn't run, he doesn't work hard, he knows some tricks which isn't enough for me. Tricks don't do a thing in my book.

Balotelli on the other hand is a brat who doesn't want to listen to coaches, media or whoever, even though he has talent he lacks the self-motivation Zlatan has. Balotelli is like Cassano, extremely talented but with a self-destructive personality.

On the field, ok, so tell me what is he doing wrong when it comes to his play? He always plays great and I'm not saying this because of the Chelsea match. I was saying that even before when we had this argument. Why isn't Balotelli listening to coach and do you even know something like that?

He plays good every time I see him and Inter gains a lot when he enters. It's not like he's not running, he's not selfish and his dribbling always comes out good. His crosses are very good as well while he's a good finisher. He has everything great for his age, it can't be any better. Now he should only play and improve himself more. He's only missing one thing and that's his brain.

But if Balo does sort out his attitude he will probably develop into one hell of a player. The talent is there for all to see. What i like about him most is, he seems to be a complete forward, he is technically accomplished, a decent finisher, has good dribbling skills and is a rather good set piece taker. Maybe he needs to work a bit on his team work, but all in all he's got it all.

Only the ones that are into pony football tricks thinks good of him. I can assure you of that. I'm not into pony football myself. There are hundreds of footballers around the world that are nothing but show, do some tricks, yet they never managed to achieve or do anything in their careers.

When you say there's no player that good at his age, I feel like we are talking about Maradona or you haven't seen too many youngsters. I don't know what special things you see in this player but I would like to see them too someday.

1- He can't play as a winger.
2- His dribbling is good? Yes, at some point he is good dribbler.
3- He's good in air? Not really.
4- Hard to mark? I doubt that very much.
