Because in a Milan home game, there is generally about a 50-50 chance of them getting a soft penalty, regardless of circumstances.
Yeah.

I'll go a step further, I'll think like an Italian football conspiracy theorist and add that the moment Milan came relatively close to Inter on the table, the refs gave Milan 5 penalty kicks in their favor and 3 red cards for their opponents in 4 consecutive matches.
When Inter beat Milan and it became clear that Milan won't be the "anti-Inter" I said in this same thread that on the next couple of matches or more, the refs will suddenly stop helping Milan. And it happened. Against Livorno and Bologna they got nothing and they couldn't win of course.
Now they'll need confidence before the CL match and they'll have to win the match.
Expect one or two penalties.

I'm crazy?
Nope, it's the Italian way. :D

dude, that's the closest i've come to believing a conspiracy theory. my question to you is, why are the refs helping milan when morratti has such a big control ofver seria a?

Does Moratti have such a big control over serie A?

Milan are 5 points behind Inter, with a game in hand, and the referee gives Sneijder a red card for sarcastic applause in 30th minute. Then he gives a red card to Lucio and a penalty for Milan for a ball to hand (it wasn't a deliberate handball. It was a shot from close range and the ball hit Lucio's hand, with Lucio not having any time at all to react).

There you have one ref that obviously isn't controlled by Moratti and coincidently (or not?) that ref gets to be the main referee on the derby.

And really, how big is Moratti's control over serie A right now?

To try and keep the league close and keep crowds and TV figures up.
Yeah, I don't know if it's correct, but it's my logic in this case.
Like I said in the past, it's not about Milan but it's about making the league more attractive and earn more money on that attractiveness. If it wasn't Milan it was gonna be Juve.

The league is becoming a joke and at the same time it's full of monotony. They're losing a lot of money. That's where I see the reasons why the "Anti-Inter" team (in this case it happened to be Milan) was getting so many decisive calls in their favor.

Pretty weird to have a Serie A game on on a friday night, but I certainly don't mind. Won't be going out, so I'll be watching this.

Alen this is sooooooo close to the truth !!!!! 99% possibility !!!!
You know only 1% separates the whole thing from reality and that's a confirmation!
I'm totally with you on this one.

I can't believe how badly players defend against Ronaldinho.

He can't run, so all you have to stand up and show him onto his left foot.

Do these defenders actually watch tapes of him before games? He is very predictable.
