He is an overall mediocre player, but a competent defender nonetheless; his speed plays a big part here, same with Caceres. I'd take him over Grosso any day.

Any person with a 100% normal and simple mind could tell you that Molinaro should still stay far away from this club.

True that,

I don't care if Molinaro is the best LB in Europe for the rest of the season, he failed for 2 1/2 years at Juventus with ample playing time and selling him this summer is the right thing to do. His good form should only serve to raise the amount of $ we can get for him, it would be his most tangible contribution to Juventus.
If only Hamburg (or where he is on loan?) don't buy him. Because they can buy him anytime for 3mln.

I'm not going to search youtube for Molinaro mistakes, if you think he was an adequate LB at Juve then there is nothing I can do to convince you otherwise
Fair enough, no need to search for links, mate.
I just figured that if you thought he was caught out of position countless times, you'd have some examples in mind, hence my question.

So Molinaro is gone, the man who we all accused of 'acting as a football player' and now more and more people pop up sayin how he was better than Grosso.

Grass is greener on the other side anyone?
Ken, that's not what this was about for me. In fact, if you check my earlier posts on the matter, you'll see that I always somewhat defended Molinaro, since I felt he received a lot of unwarranted criticism (from a defensive point of view obviously).

I was not against signing Grosso though (foolishly enough, I must admit), since there was always a real possibility he would turn out to be an upgrade over Molinaro.
Obviously, it didn't go that way.

Hehe, I actually thought about adding "This isn't aimed at you BF, you're too much of a sensible guy to just change your mind over night". Then I did re-read your post and noticed you never really mentioned Grosso, but simply defended Moli's defensive skills, so I didn't think it was necessary.

I'm just saying in general, I've seen people say stuff about Moli in alot of different threads since he left. He seems to have gotten the better option for us all of a sudden, without playing for us anymore.

So.. I didn't aim that at you, I know you've never verbally thrashed Moli before. :D

For some reason I thought your post was somewhat directed at me, so I felt I should defend my view on the matter. Thanks for your reply btw.

A lot of minds do seem to have changed though, no denying that.

Yea, I admit it looked a bit like that, as you were the main guy defending Moli on that page, but it really wasn't. :D

Oh well, getting used to the mind-changing.

Inter dominated the first half, although it feels like they're playing with 50% of their power. Mirante is the hero of the first half after saving 3 shots from Pandev.

Eto'o looks rusty and out of form. Luckily for Inter, Milito and Pandev are everywhere and they're combining like they're playing all their career together.
With Sneijder back after the suspension, Mourinho will have lots of trouble choosing which three to play up front.

One thing is sure though. With Milito, Sneijder and Pandev in great form and with Eto'o being a proven star with huge wages, Balotelli can't count on first team football :D
