Well Inter's problem is much bigger than just inidviual players. It's a mentality problem (in that club) more than anything else. I guarantee you that if they had exactly Barca players from last season they wouldn't win the CL.

It really doesn't matter who they buy, they will always be inferior to Other european clubs. Moratti has a big hand in that....
Maybe, but I always saw a big hole in their squad that was the reason they can't do anything, IMO. Like this season, they'd kick ass but Motta and Muntari failed.

If they splash 30-45mln on that position in the summer like they talk now, it's going to be one scary team. I even heard they could go after Vidic too. That's one team that can be unstoppable but we'll see.

I'm not watching the game right now, but after hearing that Lucio kicked Pellisier in the balls, I don't see how Chievo can get back into the game. Typical Lucio tactic, mind you.
:agree:

I thought I'd be stronger this year.. ignore the Inter games, but here I am..

You know what's sums up Inter's situation. Try to watch again their game against Barca in the Nou Camp. Inter players were pissing in their pants while playing there. Barca wasn't such a tough team really in that game.

If anything i thought that Barca had played one of they're most average games against Inter yet Inter players were just standing there watching. They were scared and felt like they're inferior even before they've steped a foot in that stadium.

Its just the way Inter are, they will win as long as they feel they're the better team (mostly in serie A) but in europe they don't have that confidence so they lose. Simple as that.

"It has nothing to do with the kind of players that they have" watched Inter for so many years and am pretty convinced about this.

You were also convinced that they will exit the CL at the group stages.

I know what you mean, they look average in Europe but I think things are going to change that. Not this season though.

If they sign someone like Gerrard, it will be something else IMO. Just one player like him would take them on another level.

True but when it comes to 2nd round and they face a team that has a bigger rebutation they always fade away.

You wanna bet that they will lose against chelsea and they will be totally out-classed :martini:
I don't do bets like that and I am not with you that they wull be totally out-classed and lose to Chelsea. The game could go either way whether you like that or not. Actually I see Inter with a slight advantage over the blues.
