What a goal by Huntelaar

But really, i wouldn't be too worried about Milan, Juve are their own enemy, if you guys stop losing silly points you'd definitely finish ahead of Milan.

Milan are a poor team, yet again they won unconvincingly today. They're playing really poorly and barely winning games with individual brilliance from their players, that can't really last long.

Man Utd only lost to Besiktas because they already qualified. They fielded their reserve team in that game.

Oh and its too early to say Chelsea will win the league, and if they find it a walk in the park they wouldn't have finished third last season.
man utd struggled to draw against CSK Moscow too remember at home.

Chelsea are totally new team this season and I'm comparing there performance thus far. Besides I'm still going by the theory that the big four have weakened severely bar Chelsea

Italians don't have a single team that can be called a contender to win the CL. England, in the last 2-3 years always has at least 3 such teams.
We're fooling ourselves if we think that the Italian top 4 isn't (much) worse than the English top 4.

Thats pretty bad statement. What does last season got to do with it.
Inter find the Serie A a walk in the park not because their first place in the first 12 rounds, but because they've been winning it by big margins in the past 3 years.

Just because Chelsea are first after 15 rounds doesn't make it a walk in the park, now does it?

but didn't Man Utd win the EPL for the past 3 years?

Besides why I are we comparing past years anyway when we should be comparing present.

so far we had a group that consisted of Liverpool and Fiorentina with the Italian team coming out on top.

IMO

Chelsea = Genuine chance , improved a lot , have piss poor group in the cl

Man Utd = Not the same without Ronaldo , severely weakened , been sloppy at times. I wonder what would of happened if Real Madrid were the 2nd seeds in their group.

Arsenal = I told you guys before today, that I simply not buying arsenal's early success. Again I wonder what would have happened if they had real as their 2nd seeds etc quarters in the CL. The loss of toure and adebayor will haunt them

Liverpool = Need I say more?

I'm not saying that serie's top 4 are better, but I honestly think the english dominance in europe is over !

my 4 in the semis are:

chelsea
real
barcelona
ac milan

Milan are traditionally very good in Europe, but i'm 100% sure that it won't be enough. Their style is exactly what brings success in Europe, but they lack quality on many positions and they especially lack the legs to do it.

So far they played only one good half in CL and they still need a win in Zurich to qualify.

Inter will overrun and beat Milan, most of the English teams will do the same, Juve might beat them as we regularly do in the last seasons, Bordeaux, Barcelona and Real with Ronaldo.

Nope, unless they get a very good draw, I can't see them in the semis.

I'd give United a much bigger chance than Milan of going to the Semi's. I think are underrated now that Ronaldo is gone. They still have a strong defense*, and they have some quality attacking players in Rooney, Berbatov and Giggs.

It all depends on the draw though.

With Van Persie out injured for the rest of the season, and with us not having any good enough cover for him, add to that its almost 100% guaranteed that Wenger won't strengthen in January, i do not think we can reach the Semi's. Not unless the draw is extremely generous to us.

The best 4 teams? The 4 teams that have the best chance to make it to the semis in CL?

Quality wise and potential wise, the best 4 are Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter.
In CL Inter are far from being in top 4 (they lack confedence, they play wrong tactics and outdated football) so there i'd choose (in case they don't meat each other till the semis) Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester United and one of Arsenal/Real Madrid.

Then again, the current form, the luck in the draw and some other factors will decide who'll make it to the semis (the draw might put Barcelona and Chelsea to play each other in the quarters).

Oh, and lets not forget Bordeaux as a potential surprise in the CL.
Bayern and Juve were weak, so it wasn't some huge achievement to beat them, but only a blind man won't see the potential in Bordeaux. They play like a team, know each other well, play modern football with lots of passing and running, they have quality players, quality coach and they have a player who makes things happen, Gourcuff.
They don't have experience and it might cost them, but if they continue playing as they did and they don't get Barca or Chelsea in the quarters, I can imagine them playing in the semis this year.

With exception of the RVP injury, you guys always fart your way through to the higher rounds and get a pretty decent draw up until facing an English side. I see Arsenal getting someone like Wolfsburg in the next round and then a Frenchie team in the quarters, perhaps Bordeaux, beating them because of your Frenchies. But then you'll face Chelsea in the semis. :D

I can see Bordeaux going to the quarters but they will implode by then.

Don't forget that they are probably the most effective team in set pieces.
