Moggi will not go to Juve meeting

Luciano Moggi says he was only joking when he told a radio show that he intends to be present at Juventus' next shareholder meeting.

The disgraced former director general had said he wanted to question the new regime about their handling of the 2006 Calciopoli scandal, which brought about his downfall.

When asked if would live up to his word, Moggi replied: “No, no, I was only joking. It's true, I told a radio show that I would go with the intention of asking why [the directors] didn't defend Juventus, why they declared her guilty, what the criteria was for choosing suicide.

“Then I reflected on the matter and I decided that there is always snow in Vinovo and that it would be better to stay at home. As for the rest, I also have a bit of a cold.”

Brimming with irony and menace, Moggi went on to remind people that he still has plenty of shares in Juventus.

“I have never got rid of the shares, actually I am one of the people who possesses the most,” he laughed.

Finally Moggi gave his opinion on the Calciopoli trial in Napoli, which has hit another snag after the prosecutor general lodged an appeal following reports that one of the judges had already let their verdict be known in one of the first hearings.

“You'll have to ask the judge the reasons behind these continuous difficulties,” Moggi concluded.

Great logic here.So much for things like the better team prevailing, lets just spend enormous amounts of money & hope that uefa hands us a place in europe because we invested heavily.
Thats the way football in heading Byrone can't do anything about it. Chelsea were an ambitious club (just like sampdoria, fiorentina...in italy) before the abramovich era but now they're considered "a european giants" :gsol: the main thing that changed in that club is money. Same with man city, few years down the road they will become another "European giants" thanks to the :money:.

Money whats count in football. Without it you're nobody (just look at Ajax nowadays)...

Man Shitty will not qualify for the CL, and if they make it to the Europa league next season, they shall be unceremoniously knocked out by a minnow. At least that is what I am hoping for.

Sorry for derailing the thread :p

Serie A top 4:

Inter
Juventus
Fiorentina
Milan

in that order
Don't agree about City. They will make the top four this season. Mostly because Liverpool are really poor this season. I think it will look like this come the end of the season. Liverpool will come in 5th, Aston Villa and Tottenham will fight it out for 6th.

As for the Serie A

I agree about the first three places, but i think Genoa will make fourth this season. Also, Roma have a bigger chance of getting CL football than Milan.

That was my prediction before the season started with regards to Liverpool. I chose them for the 5th spot.

I didn't expect them to be this poor to be honest. But frankly they look out of idea's in offense, the midfield isn't able to keep possession so the defense is constantly under pressure, to be honest they look clueless this season and have won most matches because of the individual brilliance of Torres or Gerrard.

I'd rather Pool be in the top four than City, to be honest they are the only team in the "top four" that i don't mind.
