I thought so. Top quality winger, at least on those matches I saw of him.
And i have to admit that he does look like Nedved playing for Czech Republic on the right wing.

He had a very good game against France a couple of weeks back, he looks like a decent player.
yea, that's the only game I've really seen of him, looked a bright spark

It's a system that will soon be changed. Kaka was sold, Ronaldinho flopped, Seedorf is old. If they also get a left winger they can easily switch to 4-4-2.
I might be wrong, but he featured a lot on the left side of MF for Serbia recently...maybe they could give Abate the RMF role

I might be wrong too, but somehow in my memory i see him on the left side.
I know that he played on the right most of the times i saw him, but i can bet that i saw him on the left wing too.

Yeah he does look Nedved and I think every time I watched him he was very good. I wanted him here last summer. :sigh: I think he's going to be a very good signing considering his price and I think Serie A is gonna suit him.

Roma to unveil plans for new ground Wednesday 23 September, 2009

Roma have issued a statement through their website announcing that the club will unveil plans for a new stadium on Tuesday September 29.

The project has the backing of the Mayor of Rome, Gianni Alemanno, and the President of the Lazio Region, Piero Mazzone.

Earlier this month, Alemanno said Roma are looking to build a new stadium in Boccea, an area to the north west of the city.

“Roma would like it to be noted that on September 29 at 11:00am a Press Conference will be held about the club's new stadium, in which the Mayor of Rome, Gianni Alemanno, and the President of the Lazio Region, Piero Mazzone, will participate, in addition to Roma President Rosella Sensi.”

Roma currently share the Stadio Olimpico with rivals Lazio who are also planning on building a new stadium in area near the city's biggest airport, Fiumicino.

Looks like we started a trend and looks like the Italians are slowly but surely working towards improving the league.

He can shoot equally well with both feet, right? Because i see him make great crosses with his right and scores great goals with his left foot.
Damn, I hope it's a crap info and Milan didn't sign him. :D
Yeah, he's good at everything so I hate this. Last season I wanted him here cause we played 4-4-2 and he can cover both sides, he's not slow at all, he has good crosses and he can use his both feet and has a decent shot.

I didn't really expect him to go to Milan. Why God, why?

As for the stadium, Roma's new one is going to cost ~300mln euros and it will have 54k seats. They are not going to pay for it, though. Don't know how it works exactly but they have some investors that will take care of it. Company that's going to build it used to work on Wembley.

Fiorentina's new stadium is also ~300mln euros.

I haven't watched Roma play ever since Ranieri took over, do they still play an attractive brand of football?
It looked good against Fiorentina, but it had more to do with Totti having a great game.

Even Ranieri himself said publicly that people shouldn't expect attractive football from his Roma.

Not so much, no. Ranieri wants to make it simple so even Totti said they can't get used to it. He cuts their freedom, it's not really like before but on the other hand they don't play defense line like they used to with Spalletti. Defense looks more aggressive and a bit better now. Still, I don't like how he keeps using Perotta and Taddei on the flanks and Cassetti instead of Motta
