He tackled maggio, which I believe only deserved a yellow card, but he kept talking after the play, and the ref just pulled the red card. I'm not sure it's mainly based on the tackle or it has to do with what he said after, but he was abusive in mouthing off

This is such a great match... a true Serie A match about Italian football and not about more international teams with heavy European TV rights and kit sales in Asia. Good level of players too.

Unfortunately, the ref is an absolute train wreck and shouldn't be ref'ing a match of 5-year-olds.

I know it's only the third game of the season but Genoa look a solid side. With Milan and Roma's declining form I think among them, Palermo, Napoli, and Samp they could be the real surprise and challenge for fourth spot. Napoli are very good on form but to inconsistent and they can't defend well at all, Samp are good but over reliant on Cassano-Pazzini, and no matter what Zamparini says Palermo are not even close to being in the Scudetto race, they would do well to make the Europa League.
